New member trying to learn Spanish to communicate...

...with my boyfriend's parents. He's Mexican and his parents only speak Spanish. We've been together for eight months and we're living together, switching between staying at my parents' house and his parents' apartment. I care for his family dearly and want to be able to communicate better with them. I'm going to do Rosetta Stone for Spanish lessons. biggrin

Hello and welcome to the guild.
I'm in the same situation as you except i've been with my fiance for 2 years and I can't communicate with his family except his brother as they are all in Chile and only speak spanish.

Rosetta stone is a good program as well as this guild and the website livemocha. Plus having your boyfriend teach you some spanish can help (I have my fiance teach me some spanish as well)
