Today I was in my garden.

& my dad found some old newspapers the neighbours had dumped at the back of our yard.
he told me to remove them.
there were little hibernating slugs all over them.
so for hours i just sat there hand picking them off.

i counted 74 slugs...
14 worms
4 leeches
& a little brown caterpillar.


it was quite relaxing.

One of my best friends grandad is Japanese and his whole house is Asian and it is so awesome. He has a Asian garden, one of the shirines in the back, and Japanese trees all around it. It's awesome.

I have a garden. I found a garden snake in it and brought it out to the woods.
I also found a baby mouse that was only two weeks old a week ago. I was able to keep it alive for a couple of days...but he died from not having the nutrients he needed. cry I still sometimes cry about it.
I'm in the process for writing that mouse a song. 3nodding Besides, he didn't die, he is just moving on to another life.

@ Itachi : that would be so cool! are you going to go with the japanese minimalist style too?

@ River :I'm not entirely sure what that means... but you can still have plants..right?

I might actually do that. Or, I am thinking about moving to a mountainous area in Japan that isn't very populated so I can keep to myself.

I means I'm sort of a resident "house boss" for where I live. We got quite a few guys in this place, so I usually can't have space for my garden. My boss is thinking of allowing me some space, though.

we have a vegetable garden that has
tomatoes, squash, zucchini,
and some other stuff.. not sure.

then we have four fruit trees,
two apple trees, one peach,
and the other is a cherry tree.
