i have pretty much a whole double life on the Astral, most of which i preffer to keep private, and some of which i am notat liberty to talk about anyway. but i can share SOME bits of stories...

anywho, i can give lessons on the methods i use. smile i have never heard of dragons having a hard time of it myself. that is new. the meditation though is mandatory for begginners though. confused i don't see why it would be wierd. all cultures, religions, and even atheists, meditate. it's a normal practice, typically considered specifically human (which i think is arrogant to say the least) and just plain healthy. anywho, PM me for lessons. smile i like to giv ethem step by step because knowing the next step ahead of time can get in the way.

Yea, it's really not. I guess everyone has more practical concerns ATM; school just started back up for me, and I'm already mssing a math assignment.

I should be studying for a test on monday on the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, but I just can't stay away. sweatdrop

On topic: I astral travel every so often, I first tried it to keep in touch with my partner when he was in the UK, but he's here now so I've not done it regularly in awhile.
I should really, it's one of the only ways I can interact with my dragons, other than talking to them, and feeling like a loon of course. The last time Chaos, Iri and I had a nice game of cards...Chaos cheated.

Chieftain taught me how to astrally project myself and through that I was able to explore my own inner world and those of a few other people.

Seeing as I've lost contact with almost every person I've done this with, I no longer participate. Having a mentor really helped, and having been very close to Chieftain really helped out. He first approached me astrally and showed me how to reach out.

I have never tried to Astral Travel. I do lucid dream though, and it kinda just started happening out of control while I was a teen. I needed to get a handle on it, because my sleep wasn't doing what it was supposed to do for me. sweatdrop When I did dream, I was always having nightmares, or premonitions and I could not sleep without waking up very disturbed.

I guess the lucid dreaming was my way to counter the nightmares. The problem with it was the fact that I remembered my night like I remembered my days.

So I started looking for ways to get my sleep to function as rest for me instead of living a whole new day again. I started on my own by making journals, and deliberately stepping back from the events of my dreams. Even though I have gotten a handle on it, I still am tired almost all the time like I don't get enough sleep.

I learned how to control the point of view that I dream from, and allow things to flow instead of influence them. I was still in effect consciously controlling the direction my dreams took. I started finding books that talked about dreaming, but it spilled over into books on Astral Travel. So I did some reading up on it.

I know that lucid dreaming and Astral Travel are supposed to be 2 different things, but I have found my experiences do not fit neatly into either niche.

You see, I have visited places, and seen people that I haven't seen forever. They will call me out of the blue and say, "I dreamed about you," after I have "dreamed" about them. I have dreams about what will happen, and I have dreams that seem to be about what could have been, and when I look into the people and places in those dreams, I find so many things that can't be coincidence, I almost think I am looking into alternate realities.

I do not contact any "Guides", I just "go".

My husband is currently interested in Astral travel, and he is wanting to talk to me about my experience. I don't do anything, it just happens, so I don't know what to tell him.

There is one place that I drew before I met my husband. He explained the place to a T one morning shortly after we were married, so I showed him my drawing. I had to go to my parents house to get it, so there was no way for him to have seen my drawing.

It is a place that I have been to many times, and it defies any experience I have had in my own life. I was wondering if anyone has been to this particular place other than my husband and me. I would appreciate any PMs from someone who is familiar with projection, that we could exchange notes about this place, and if others have been there. I do not want to influence the travels of others if my influence would be unwelcome.
