Ok, so, I want to get a new sewing machine, the one I have now is a piece of junk. Anywho, I'm looking for a machine that runs well, is easy to thread, and isn't too expensive, but not cheap either. Anyone know of any good machines?

I like using Bernina's Sewing's Activa. You could pick it up at most Bernina stores. I'm not to sure on the price because there are different types of Activa sewing machines for different levels of experience.

I got a Singer Prelude for $65 on sale (reg. $99) at Target on Black Friday two years ago. It came with several useful features, and its very intuitive. I'm still getting used to a side bobbin, but its held up very well. Singers are good because the company will fix them for free.
Honestly it depends on what you want to use it for, and how many options you need. I highly suggest you sign up for Joann's email newsletter. They email you coupons good for 50% any item in the store. Which would significantly reduce the cost of a sewing machine mrgreen
