So this idea stems from a roleplay that we attempted to start in another YUU*GI*OU guild, but never got around to doing. The idea behind this is just a fun, simple roleplay with no real plot or anything. We just treat the thread like a chat room, then end up dividing the characters up, and pretend to post in said 'chat room' as the character(s) we play. Hopefully the roleplay won't slow down as easily as group roleplays usually do, since it's really just like having a conversation.
For now, we'll have everyone who wants to play join in as one character. You can post in this thread which character you want to be, and first person to claim that character gets them. I'll add characters to the list of RP characters that people choose, and say who's playing them. For now, I'm going to ask that you only request one character. Once the RP has settled, and we seem to have a decent number of people, without too many more wanting to join in the future, you can start requesting more characters that aren't taken yet. All that you really need in terms of character development is to come up with a username and typing style for your character. Please put the username you would like to use in the same post that you request a certain character in, so we can know who is who. You can also come up with fonts, colors, etc. that your character uses in their posts.
That's about it! Hope you all have fun. When you request a character, or speak out side of the chatroom, please put it in double parenthesis, ((like this)), so that we know it's not part of the roleplay.

Aww, you beat me to it! Well, to be honest, I think it'd be more fun to be Mokuba and pretend to be Seto.. so that's what I'll do<3 Oh, the things younger siblings do to the older ones~<3

((Haha, sorry Ghost, but playing Kaiba has been what I've wanted to do since I started discussing chat room rp with Kits about a week ago - because I always rp with "more experienced" roleplayers who "have" characters I always end up being random minor characters - usually ones I don't even like, which is totally fun but for once I actually want to try something different and rp a main character, my favorite main character...^_^. I think this would be a pretty chill forum to do that in too. Also, I think you'll be a most excellent wannabe me (Seto) Mokuba, hehe.
Well you know, that's the nice charitable thing that I should say...but screw the niceties I have faster commenting skills!!!

((I actually read this earlier before anyone posted but I was waiting for someone to claim Seto so I could be Mokuba<3 I figured the guild would be confused if I didn't claim him when he was free....
besides, being Mokuba you have more opportunities to mess with people! You can be mean and have people be like 'feh, that's Kaiba for ya' and then you can be nice and it throw people off!! Yes, I'm most defently glad I waited and picked Mokuba<3))

Hehehe, anyhow glad to hear it, I wouldn't want to step on toes - I mean hence the always roleplaying Grandpa and Rebecca and the like because other people get so upset if they lose "their" character. I'm not going to care to the point of picking default this time to apease, but in theory I'd still like not to upset anyone.))

((Wow, the creativity is already flowing! XD Cute idea, JK and Ghost, about Mokuba pretending to be Kaiba, and Kaiba being all paranoid about it.
@Atem: Hmm, I hadn't thought about that, playing both Yuugis or just one. *slaps head* I think it would make more sense to have them both be the same person, since they share a body anyway, and it would definitely be interesting to have them take turns being the one posting, so yes, I'll say you can play both of them. Likewise, whoever plays Bakura will play both Yami no Bakura and Omote no Bakura, and whoever plays Malik will get both of his halves. But please keep them under the same username, otherwise it would just be a little too much like having two characters.))
