I read somewhere (and that somewhere could have very well have been a fiction novel but I do not remember) that names hold power, apparently a lot of power and thats why you should be very careful about who you give your full name to.
Personally I view that a name should reflect a person.
at birth the parent gives them a temporary name and when they mature and actually develope a personality they legally change their name to reflect themselves.
like some native tribes. >>
lets say you made your last name wolf.
either you would choose that because you have a close affinity with wolves, or of what a wolf represents.
Hence why I rarely give out my real name.
if you bother translating it to english it gives away hints towards my personality and how my mind works.
I will share a few nicknames though given to me :3
Neco, Peona.
Neco sounds innocent enough. <<
but its the verb form of Necis.
Necis is latin for death, and Neco means "to kill", "to slay".
I was given that nickname because I am excessively violent.
^^
Personally I have a legal name (first, middle, last), a Formal name (first, last), and a casual (first, middle, last) along with a name that I use when I make a promise, oath etc.
I know im weird. <<
