I wrote this paragraph to prove that I could randomly pull an awesome paragraph of descriptive writing out of my a** during an MSN conversation.


Zaxus walked out of the doorway into the empty street. The flickering light of a single nearby lamp played along the surface of the grimy pavement. It's fluorescent light shown palely in the darkness of the moonless night. He was glad for it, none-the-less, because he was in a place he would rather never have to be. He turned and walked down the street. He held his hands to his face, and a dim red flare lit up his features. His face looked like it had seen a lot of hardship over the years, as if every day was a fight for survival. There was a scar over he left eyebrow that traveled down, leading to his deep brown eyes. He had a low brow, and it was knit down, giving him a brooding appearance. He drew his hands away from the cigarette he had just lit, the match the source of the red light, and shook the match out by his side, discarding it into the street. All this was done at a brisk walk, for he had no desire to tarry in this part of town.

Okay... this is just a short paragraph from what MoI and I are doing. I'm just gonna putt my part in case she wants to keep hers a secret for a bit longer! whee

I stopped at the door. I could sense that something unusual was going on inside. Was Alice even here? The door wasn’t locked, but when I pushed inward something blocked it. What was going on? Time for two black belts in Tae Kwon Do and Jujitsu to come in handy. One swift kick, one sore foot, and two halves of a rather flimsy wood door later, and I was through. Ready to face the reawakened armies of the dead I discovered a most disturbing thing…Alice alone. She had locked me out of our room! "L, what the heck is going on? I had to break the door to get in!"

That is all I will reveal. It's a slow process with school and all. But I felt that this thread needed something new.
