Never played, just heard about it.

cus watching the vids theres no lag in between attacks therefore its like shfling and the speed of the chars is top notch, prolly why I thought it was like melee xD

Doesn't brawl have a fast mode? Or did they drop that from specials versus...

Its not only fast it has no lag when landing and theres new costume designs.

Theres a fast mode yes, but this time its in regular game play like melee.
I thought brawl was slow but thats just me lol xD

I thought Brawl's controls were perfect, a huge step up from Melee which now feels broken and archaic in comparison. So, personally I don't think this was a necessary change.

Meh, it doesn't really look that great.
Most definitly not worth hacking my Wii anyway.

For lack of a less commonly used term, I did think brawl was too... casual.
It tried too hard to appeal to the masses, and while it succeeded, to long-time gamers, it was less fun than it should have been.
On the other hand, faster gameplay and no tripping isn't a legit reason to hack your Wii.

Why bother going through the trouble making Brawl exactly like Melee? You're better off playing Melee.

I thought Brawl could have easily been better, but it's still a phenomonal game. I don't think making it more like Melee would make it better though.
