I posted this on the Picture Post forum and all I got was "wow that's amazing" "wow i don't have the patience for that" When you know if you do it in Illustrator and make outlines of the txt, it isn't hard at all.
In Illustrator CS4. You get a picture of yourself and place it into illustrator, then lock it. Then you get a mass of txt over your picture. You make the leading real tight and then you make outlines out of the txt. Then you select txt and use the eyedropper for the color. Select and color. Easy as that. (:
Then when you're done you unlock your background picture and hide it and put a background color behind your txt so you can see it better. Tada.

I agree. Perhaps you can play with the Brightness & Contra and the Levels in Photoshop to get a high contrast effect, more appealing to the eye and also, easier to distinguish at first glance.
