this light shines bright,
but covers the dangers creeping in the night.
A still small sound catches my ear
making me dread and fear
the things that lie behind windows,
hide beyond doors,
lurk in the shadows,
and much more...

Not bad...not bad at all.
Not that I'm very good at it, but try to use colourful adjectives and such to paint a mental 'picture' for the reader. =)

thanks mrgreen everyone can write poetry its just feelings and thoughts that u find more interesting. i have a few that r more colorful ill post them soon
