Silently rain fell outside in the small town, the cobble stone streets becoming wet and slick with the water as the streetlamps appeared to have tears from the falling rain onto their glass covers to protect the flames. The rain came down softly, small puddles forming here and there on the sidewalk and streets. Rain drained down to the swears. A horse trotted, a carriage being pulled behind it down the empty street of the night. Mothers inside their warm dry homes read bedtime stories to their children, tucking them in and wishing them a goodnight before leaving.

In one home a girl watched, staring out her window in her pale nightgown. Her crystal blue sad eyes stared out there the rain covered windowpane. Her room was beautiful, all in it a young woman would ever want and yet her expression did not speak happiness. It spoke only sadness and loneliness. Her soft brown hair fell down just past her shoulders, a soft wave to it, falling about her face to frame it beautifully. Her skin was flawless, just a tiny bit pale but yet still peach enough to show she did go out in the sun.

Softly she reached a delicate hand up to her chest, softly wrapping her slender fingers around a heart shaped locket. Her eyes never left her window, staring out sadly as the rain fell, making her reflection look as though it were crying tears that she felt in her heart. Slowly she turned her head from the window and gazed over to her desk, softly standing she stepped lightly across the wooden floor. She picked up a music box that held a beautiful ballerina on top. Gently she cracked the key and sat back down at the window as it played its simple short tune, filling the room with a beautiful yet sad tune as the young woman gazed back out her window.

Gently she rose her other hand, gently opening the locket as she turned her gaze down, staring at the picture as lightening flashed softly outside, showing a storm was brewing. Softly she gazed at the picture, tears slowly entering her eyes. It held a picture of a man and herself, one of two young children, smiling and laughing. The other of them older, still in the others arms, his arms wrapped around her to show protection and love. Softly tears slowly entered her eyes, coming to the brim before gently slipping out and down her smooth cheeks.

Quietly she closed the locket, holding it close in both her hands closed about it close to her chest. Her eyes softly closed as the tears fell from her eyes, softly she cried as it rain. Her heart ached, it had been shattered when six months ago she had been told that he had been killed in a fight that broke out in the square and they had thrown his corpse in the river. This had devastated her. She refused to speak to any if ever. The music box played, the ballerina went in her circle slowly as it began ti wind down. When it came to a stop the young woman had fallen into a soft peaceful slumber, resting at the windowsill, tears had stained her face softly as soft thunder rang out in the dark stormy night.

The sunlight came once morning broke. The gentle warm rays sparkled off the water droplets on the leaves of the plants that were left behind from the storm. A soft gentle wind blew, shaking the leaves to dry them as the water softly fell, dripping down to the earth below. Shops began to open their windows, inhaling the fresh air, cleaned by the rain as they began to dust and get set up for when the other people of the town would wake and come to shop to keep their daily lives running smoothly.

The warm sunlight rays softly danced across the brick and wooden buildings, softly shinning upon the young woman's face. Gently she closed her eyes tighter, feeling the warmth of the sunlight on her skin gently woke her from her slumber as her eyes softly opened. She gave a gentle quiet yawn, stretching her arms as she sat up straight. She gave a soft sigh before lowering her arms and stood, walking gently over to her closet and picked out a beautiful sapphire dress.

Gently she waked over to her bed, laying it down with fresh under garments and undressed, letting her night gown slip and fall to the floor from her flawless figure that had all the right curves in the right places. She slipped from her panties and changed, slipping into her dress and zipped it up in back. The young woman turned, the dress extending out as she stepped quickly over to her vanity, bare foot and sat on the bench, gently picking up her soft hairbrush and began to brush her hair out as she watched her reflection.

Soft and smoothly she slipped up from her bench once she had finished brushing and fixing her hair back elegantly with a clip to hold the sides of her hair back, she stepped over and sat on the bed, putting on socks then her heeled shoes. Quietly she stood, walking to the door as her heels tapped on the wood. Softly she reached out and gently turned the handle, opening and stepped out of her room, closing the door behind her and continued down the hallway that held a beautiful red carpet down the center of the hall; pictures hung on the walls of deceased family members and works of art done by the local artists. She could feel as though their stares followed her every move, watching and judging, belittling her for falling in love with an obvious commoner.

Her parents had both been wealthy beyond belief and they hated it when she fell for the words and heart of a man who showed her how it was to be like any commoner. She had been happy seeing the world through the eyes of one who had little but still found joy and happiness. Softly one of her hands reached up and softly held the locket close to her chest. Gently shaking her head she refused to allow her tears to fall, softly lowering her hand slowly as she continued down the hall, stepping down the beautiful stone stairs, and across the marble stone flooring of the main room as she walked to the dinning room to meet her parents and elder sibling for breakfast.

((Okay i finally have the response... sorry if wrote it wrong sweatdrop and sorr it took so long.))

The sun was just starting to peek through the buildings. With the moisture still freshly on the ground the sounds of morning birds could be heard throughout the city. Further down the street there was a girl walking on the sidewalk. She skipped over the puddles and danced around the path with her long russet hair flowing behind her. The breezy air smelt clean and fresh due to the rain from the night before. She happily spun around and let herself imagine flying through the air, just as a bird would. She had come close to a fancy looking house and began to slow her pace.

The girl came to a complete stop and stared at it with wonder. She thought about how nice it would be to be able to wake up to a big house, and wear expensive clothing, and eat delicious food every single day. She sighed saddle and looked away; Someone like her didn’t belong in a place like that. She stared at her blue dress with the patches down the left side and it made her feel very unwanted.

She lifted her delicate head and stared once more with her pale green eyes at the large house, and exhaled slowly. The home was a beautiful golden color with beautiful windows and flowered vines growing up the side. She looked carefully and saw people moving from inside the window. A familiar curiosity welled up inside of her and she trotted towards the building.

She snuck up beside the house and right under the window; the girl knew this was a bad idea, but she didn't care. She closed her eyes and listened to the sound of the wealthy family. She heard people walking around the room, and the sounds of food as it was cooked on the hot stove; that most of all made her mouth water. She could also hear some of them speaking, but couldn’t understand the individual words.

After a long while the girl opened her eyes and sighed again. The thought of a home was a safe sort of feeling. She made her way back to the sidewalk as quickly and quietly as possible. Glancing back over her shoulder one last time, she gazed once more into the beautiful home, and after picking up speed she trotting down the street and disappearing around a corner building.
