Hey guys, I'm thinking of making a new Guild. I intend to use it as a haven for people with the old B.O.O. skin and allowing us to stick together. I will use the Guild for the following goals:
1: To unify users who decided to hang on to the old B.O.O. skin for as long as they can
2: To work together in getting the skin back or at least available to users.
3: To preserve the skin that is at risk of being lost forever, like the 2K4 Zombies.
4: To show the rest of the community that dedicated B.O.O. followers are still out there and willing to hold on.
I don't intend for it to be like Zombie Nation, an isolated Guild SOLELY for Grombies. Though I will only give membership to people with the B.O.O. skin, I will make the Guild private so at least people can see what we are up to.
Anyone in with this idea?

That sounds fine to me. ^^
But it really depends if a lot of us want to join. A guild with little members in it isn't going to fare well. :/

Well, we can actively send invites to all people we see with the original B.O.O. skin. At this point, people who have it now are people who are willing to hang on for as long as possible.

True.
I honestly don't want that 'replacement' skin in my inventory, when I can't even throw it out. :/
But I'm sure a lot of people would join. I'm seeing a lot of people saying they won't change their avatar, and someone even made a thread about it in the demonbusters forum.

Ok this is total bull crap. the rules clearly stated that the losers (AKA you guys) would not get to keep their skins if that was their case. you need to suck it up and get over it. it was in the rules so gaia isnt going to cave into your whining.

That is undeniable. We lost and the skin is no longer available. But, for the sake of preservation, anyone who wants to join and I will hang on to the old skin for as long as we can, and Gaia's rules can't say anything about that. The skin really is cool, and it would be a shame if everyone just reverted back, lost forever. It would be as lost as the H2K4 zombie skin, which has only somewhat returned in the Tropical Disease item. While getting the old skin back is goal number 2, our biggest goal of all is to preserve. It's fine if you think our intentions are totally worthless, really. But that doesn't mean I'm just going to change anytime soon. wink

If we completely weren't allowed to keep our skins, don't you think that Gaia would have edited all of our avatars to change it to the Potatoverseer? They didn't, as you can clearly see. They might do it later, but some people in this guild really like this skin, so we're going to hold on to it as much as possible.
If I'm wrong, the not-posted guild will be about the people who don't want to give up their skin. We may or may not run petitions. But if we do, and if you're S.I.N, then I fail to see how this has anything to do with you. If you're B.O.O, then I honestly don't know what to say.
Edit: Plus, who said we HAD to change our avatars? I'm never changing my avatar again unless it really comes to it. I'm not letting this skin disappear.

Wow.... This is a very big douche move. Not only is that a horrible idea, you only said that people with the old BOO skin meaning that other BOO members without wont be able to join. Yeah REAL holy like... >.> AND Gaia staff will fix this problem in a few weeks anyways, so expect your glowly skin to be brown soon. Also, Gaia staff said that the losers LOSE their skin. Guess what? So what if you think its lame, it aint againts the ToS to make a guild, so they can do whatever they hell they want. So now your opinion is noted, twice, no need to keep saying it.
