Hope this helps you a bit.
This movie is about a Nun. And she's not your average Nun.

That's a goood one! I love whe the victims fight back (not stumbling all over themselves and screaming or pleading for them to stop...) It violates our sense of safeness when it the villain is supposed to be a trusted member of society! And it allways makes it scarier when the bad guy (woman/nun) returns!!!
Good Pick, Bubbles. wink

Thank you Gwee. I love reading Stephen King novels and Edgar Allen Poe poetry. Those two really knew how to get your mind going. My favorite of course is, The Raven, by Poe. Stephen King's The Stand and Tommy Knockers were pretty good too. And that poor dog Cujo. To be honest, I had nightmares for days about that dog. The most recent dog I had was called Cujo. Isn't that ironic?

eek
Scary stories and movies are usually about the same.
I like to laugh at scary movies.
And the people who talk to them.
"No, don't go in the scary house!" and they always do.
Lmao. It's always so predictable.
But the supernatural stuff... *chills*
I didn't even want to see Haunting in Connecticut...

That reminds me of Amityville Horror. That was way creepy.

Ooooh, wasn't that based on a true story?

Ok. Here it goes. My now famous story of "The Toe-Eater."

It was a night just like this, a long time ago, back before this was even a neighborhood and was just a few scattered homes connected by a maze of trails.

One by one, the children started disappearing. But to the parents relief, they reappeared; only they were missing their toes and seemed catatonic, staring blankly, unable to speak...

Parents stopped letting their children roam freely to each other homes for visits. A break finally came, as a young child left home to head to a neighbors house. Realising, her child had left unattended, the Mother hurried along the worn path catching a glimpse of a cloak disappearing into the woods. Cautiously following, unaware and apprehensive of what she'd find, she stared in horror at the scene that unfolded before her.

There sitting on a fallen log, by a fire with a kettle over it, sat her child bonded and gagged. Out of the shadows that danced around the fire stepped the elusive hermit rumored to roam the woods. He proceeded to the child, carefully removing the shoes, and to the Mother's horror, began to chop off the child's toes and pop them into the kettle of boiling water for his own concoction of toe-soup.

Horrified, she rushed the man and grabbed her child and ran back to the safety of their own home. Word spread quickly through the nearby neighbors and before the night was over a mob had formed, determined to hunt down the hermit and hang him for his horrendous crimes against their innocent children.

Some say, his body still hangs from that very tree and his spirit still haunts this neighborhood to prey on unattended children. And to this day, it is said that on a night like this you can still hear the chants of the enraged parents screaming "Toe-Eater, Toe-Eater!"

ah, what can we do?
I try to remind myself, patience is a virtue;
and for some reason the phrase about leading a camel to water, but can't make him drink comes to mind.
as, long as some love exist, I won't lose hope that some say Watu will become an oasis of Gaia. mrgreen

Thank you, and thank you to all that have made an effort.
