Calvator Conspiracy

We've been caught.
Stolen from our old lives.
Taken to this place, in the middle of no-where.
Experimented on: Grown these animal attributes.
Now we look like freaks, mutants even!
There has to be a way out of this.
There has to be...

Dr. Calvin. A brilliant scientist, graduating at the top of his class and hellbent on creating the 'perfect human'. Everyone respected him and saw him as the miracle doctor...until his determination for making his goal come true got out of hand. Shunned from the medical society, he disappeared from the radar, unknowingly creating a laboratory far away from civilization. Nobody knows of the lab except for the cruel workers there. And even they aren't allowed to leave without specific permission.
Because inside of the doors, cages and steel bars await occupants.
Kids have started to go missing, most in their teenage years. Search parties begin (unless their parents don't care for them) only to be unsuccessful.
They end up in the lab, only they've been turned into something else. Each kid apon arrival is given an injection of animal DNA. Some change into their mutation quickly, some take a while for the features to show up.
Some don't survive.
Will these creations find a way to escape? Will they be taken over by their animal instincts? Or...will Dr. Calvin actually make the perfect human?
Only time can tell...

Setting

Lab Exterior: The lab is called Calvator Laboratory and rests in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in the rainy Washington State. It is in an area surrounded by trees and forests. It is a fairly big building, made of mostly concrete, and it is definitely in elementary condition as it is brand new. Inside, there are winding corridors and hallways that could confuse anybody who didn't know their way around. The lab also consists of an outdoor bio-dome for allowing the experiments some possible free-time but is mainly used for examination.

Experiments' Room: This is a big room with cages lined up along the walls forming an aisle of sorts down to the end of the room, most will be filled with the experiments; although here and there a few empty cages will be stacked against one another. The cages are fairly small, and have a small dirty pillow and a sheet inside them. There is also a tin water and food bowl. The cages have a smooth concrete bottom, like that of a garage floor and thick, close-together bars leading to a solid top. The entire cage is made of either steel or titanium, depending on what or who is being confined.

Scientists' Lounge: Here is where the scientists hang out when they aren't busy injecting teens, conducting experiments, or examining. It's a boring room with a small TV hanging from the ceiling, a small counter(like a mini-kitchen) with a sink, microwave, coffee maker, a small fridge with sodas and drinks and cold food. There are two tables with chairs in the center of the room as well.

Outdoor Bio-dome: The outdoor bio-dome is actually very large. Is is covered with lush green grass, and a small man-made creek running through it. There is a meadow to one side, with softly rolling hills, and a forest with very few specimens of trees on the other. The dome is made of an indestructible plexiglass made by the Dr. himself. A small room is adjoined to the dome for the scientists to observe and take notes. The glass separating the room is much stronger than the rest of the glass, as angry experiments have broken in and caused damage to the people inside, causing them to take extra precautions.

Observation Room: Scientists can examine any experiments in the Bio-dome in this room. It is a small, narrow room on the opposite wall of the Bio-dome with a wide window looking into the Bio-dome. This window is made of bullet glass to protect the scientists from possible attacks. Along the walls are several beeping computers, which are only to be used by scientists given permission by Doctor Calvin, or Dr. Calvin himself. For the scientists lower on the power scale, there are clipboards with charts and lists for each specific experiment.

The Injection Room: In this small, confined room, the teens are taken in, strapped onto a metal table and injected painfully in their arm. Usually there is more than one scientist in the room to do to procedure in case the victim were able to escape the high quality restraints. The effect of the DNA injection may take a long time, or it might just happen the moment that it has been injected, depending on the DNA and the person receiving it.

The Washroom: This is where the experiments get bathed when really needed. It is a large, but confined, metal room without windows. There are three large, metal boxes against three walls that are usually filled with water that comes from two pipes connected to the sides of the 'tubs'. The room has tile floors and a drain in the center to get rid of excess water. The door to the room locks from the outside to make sure there are no escapees. The teens are given a certain amount of time to wash themselves before they are dragged out, clothed or not. Soap and towels are provided by the Caretaker before the experiments are placed into the room. The door is then closed and the experiments have their time to clean themselves.

I DO have the power to add more rules as I see fit.

1.) SPELLING, GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION. I don't want EXCUSES I want good SPELLING, GRAMMAR and PUNCTUATION. I screw up too but I don't screw up that often. Either get Mozilla Firefox or some other system to help with your spelling. I don't care. Just do it or I'll start ripping heads off.

2.) Nobody really likes finding out they're character died and they suddenly have been unwillingly kicked from the role play. Killing NPC's is fine, but you need to talk and discuss with the other person if you wish to kill a character.

3.) ...Keep your cloths on. No cybering. The only thing I'll allow is two people saying or implying their gonna do it, and then walking off to do it. I don't want to see it. I don't want to hear it.

4.) No worthless posts. I ask you to not post something if it does not contribute you to the role play, which means no making entire posts just to say or respond to a conversation outside of the role play. I ask of you to at least do something with a character that could contribute to the role play and other characters in every post. If you MUST respond to someone or have to say something, but are unable to do anything with a character of your's, please send the person a private message or a comment.
I understand not everyone can interact 100% of the time so I'll allow some self play. After all, we're all guilty of self interaction, for whatever purposes we may have. I just ask that you don't play with yourself like a thirteen year old boy with a Playboy magazine, or in other words, playing only with yourself and no one else for long periods of time.

Your character may not have a nickname, in that case you can put N/A if so. DNA-Infusion means the animal DNA they have within their bloodstream, for instance swan or lynx DNA. For scientists, DNA-infusions are plausible. If there is no DNA-infusion, ignore that box. For appearances, pictures are welcome to assist your description. Attire can include weapons along with the clothes they are wearing, though weapons would be uncommon on any experiments.
The experiment numbers will be small - nothing in the hundreds just yet as Calvator Laboratory is fairly new.
Love interest may be an old boyfriend/girlfriend, or none at all. Filling out N/A in the love interest section does not mean you're character shall never love in the RP. It just means at the time of the latest observation they didn't like anyone. If this changes, so will the profile.

As a way to break her, the Doctor forced Abagail to stay in touch of the news of her disappearance and the search parties looking for her. When her parents reluctantly gave up and gave into the lie she was dead, all her hope and faith died as well, making her easy to toy with on Calvin's part. This came with a price however, making Abagail very violent, vengeful, and hateful of the people who are under the Doctor's control.

It was snowing out so he went for a walk around town. Somewhere on the way Calvin's goons caught him. His parents were used to him running away but when he wasn't back the next day they called the police, after a while of searching they gave up and decided he had ran away for good. They never fought again though.

Once she was five, she gained also the title of quil (quil meaning wise) because she learned all of the important things the tribe members of the Hooweatoh tribe needs to know 15 years younger than everyone else. When she turned seven, her parents gave her a peridot pendant, as a good luck charm for her. In her tribe, peridot was always thought of good things to come since everyone in her tribe was born in August. After her sixteenth birthday, she escaped her tribe, a man burning down all of the tepees and everyone inside them, except her. She grabbed a bamboo spear, a bowl, and a small pouch of rice, and ran into the forest, soon captured by the man and brought to the laboratory.

When she turned sixteen, her parents couldn't afford the house and the school, so they were forced had to leave Japan and move to the US. She moved to Astoria, Oregon. One night, a few days after they moved, when Sayuri's parents were asleep, one of the workers for Dr. Calvin came into their house, who inconspicuously had her Kendo stick with her, tied onto her back, and was knocked out by the man and took away from her home.

Comforting them though has been increasingly hard, since most of them hate him simply because he works for Dr. Calvin, and many co-workers look down on him for trying to soothe wild and savage beasts.

The Experiment gave him too much strength than the scientists and original security could deal with (The Security Guard was devoured after being the first to provoke him to attack). Calvin decided to force him to be the new security, as both punishment, and necessity.

History: Stein has been a life long friend of Doctor Calvin. he practically knew Calvin since early childhood, and throughout their years of college. When Calvin first proposed the idea of a perfect human, Stein supported him and liked his ideas. When he heard of Calvin's methods though of achieving these perfect beings, his support quickly withdrew. While Calvin fell off the map for the rest of the world, Stein knew exactly what he was doing and where, because he was there. He had struck a deal with Calvin. Stein agreed to find a way to splice DNA for Calvin. But if he found that the DNA splicing was too painful for him, he would not share his secrets with Calvin. As a way to test the pain, Stein performed the experiments on himself, hence why he has so many DNA changes. While he found the DNA splicing to be just fine, he knew ordinary children would not, and pleaded with Calvin not to experiment. But Calvin worked his way around Stein, pointing out that Stein said he would only refuse to share if he found the splicing painful to himself, which he did not. Reluctantly, Stein handed over his secrets to Calvin and quickly fell off the map as Calvin did. He's only now resurfaced, working together with Calvin again for two reasons. His first reason was so he could help the children, though he would not go out of his way to lose his job for them. His second reason was because word had gotten out of Stein's relationship with Calvin, which falsely associated him with the same dark personality as Calvin, forcing him out of all other possible jobs.

The lab she used to work at only did small things like using a gene in jelly fish to make rats glow, but she wanted to see if the same thing could be done with humans. She herd about Calvin and decided to get a job at the lab. She has no intention of hurting the children though.

The Experiments' Room. By far the loudest room out all of Doctor Calvin's laboratory. The only time the room could even come close to silent was when the children slept, and not all of them slept at the same time, or quietly.
It was early morning though, about eight to be exact, meaning most experiments were awake, so noise was being made. The noises varied from loud animal calls and roars, to soft chatter among experiments.
One such conversation was going on between two particular experiments...

"So you got to go back into the... The Injection Room?" Abagail softly sighed, sitting crossed legged in her cage, her tail coming up from between her legs. As a way to pass the time, she twirled the end of it between her fingers, an exercise she commonly practiced to help her get use to the new body parts she had. No progress had been made since the beginning.

"Yeah. I think Calvin's trying to make me more like Shark-Boy." Jacob grunted in response, rubbing his jaw. "Probably not as strong like him, but I don't doubt he wants me to end up like him. A ******** super soldier."

"You have to go in too, remember? It's Injection Day for everyone." He growled.

"What?! Why?!" Abagail snapped, dropping her tails in surprise of the news.

"Don't tell me you forgot Injection Day." He grunted.

"No!" Abagail whimpered, flashbacks of Calvin and his workers coming in, grabbing the experiments and dragging them out, one at a time. Sometimes the screams echoed back into the Experiments' Room, making those who were already nervous and fearful for their turn only more worried.

Abagail sighed heavily, pulling her legs up close to her chest and holding herself.

This was Hell.

Rune was one of the few experiments awake, only because of the noise though. He was leaning against the cold bar of his cage, his headphones on to block out the noise, he was busy sharpening his claws on the floor of the cage. His jacket was laying on the floor next to him because he got tired of the heat.

Sean was laying on the couch waiting for the coffee maker to start up. "It's to early for this." He yawned stretching. He was laying so his wings were wrapped around him like a blanket, the only way he could lay other then his side so they wouldn't get hurt.

The aptly-named 'Shark-Boy' was leaning against a wall with his arms crossed, staring at the TV. Some a*****e had left it on the food network, and low and behold, it was a special on various meat.
"...I swear to god if I find the person who left this on...I'm going to re-define amputation..."

"You could just change it so stop you grumbling Jaws." Sean murmured putting his hands behind his head as a pillow and closed his eyes. He didn't like getting up early, he didn't like it more when he was stuck in the same room as Brad.

"Do you remember what happened to the LAST person to get flip with me?" Brad asked, his eye slowly twitching as he looked down at Sean.

"I don't really think venom will agree with your stomach this time." Sean yawn getting up. The coffee maker had finally finished so he flew over to it. "Beside, last time they weren't armed." He said pouring himself something to drink.

"Oh, but it would be WORTH it even if the poison took affect..." Brad growled.
