Have you had any recently?

This goes towards all kind of creepy dreams. Personally, I get future seeingish dream every once in a while, but those don't even throw me any more, most of the time. Usually they're just a flash; it only lasts long enough for me to realize, when it happens IRL, that I had dreamt it.

More recently, though, I had an actual future predicting dream. One of my friends recently "dropped out" of school. (she's actually going into Running Start.) I dreamt that she came to school and told me that she was going to this other school. Next day she comes in to get her work, and says she's going to Running Start through the aforementioned school.

WTF.

The other weird dream I had, was one where I was apparently cosplaying a character. That wasn't the weird thing. The weird thing was that my braintwin had a dream the same night of cosplaying another character from the same game. (For those interested, we were Joshua and Neku from TWEWY.) This is why we're braintwins.

Anyone else wanna share?

I had a strange dream as well. I was in a burning skyscraper, but no one was panicing since it was on the upper floors. So there was a fire, people were getting out calmly, even though the cielling was in flames!!! The really stupid thing was my mum wouldn't let me loot any of the shops on that floor like everyone else, even though she was sticking cushions into a bag? She also had me throw a partialy dead and crispy bird in a bin? neutral

In my dream, I was wrestling Ted DiBiase (from the WWE univerce) on a 30 ft tower of cushions. He, being the jerk that he is, knocked us both off the tower. By some twist of dream physics, I saved his life but broke my arm and hip in the fall. When I woke up, I was so pissed off at the guy.

I had a dream where I was being chased by zombies from DOOM.
For some reason, saying "for the innocent" killed them.
Making my job easier.
But I still had my M16.

I apologize for the length/format, but this is a direct copy/paste from a paper I wrote for class.

The nightmares attacked my mind in the March of my Junior year of high school. The period leading up to all of them had been the normal that people associate with mental oddities: stressful. All of my classes were gradually becoming more and more difficult and my parents were pushing harder and harder for me to succeed in them. Every day, it felt like I was walking farther and farther down into a funnel with the walls squeezing tighter and tighter with every step that I took. Many people compare increasing stress to drowning, but drowning is quiet and peaceful. This was more like I was being chased, hunted by the pressures of life. I believe that it was that feeling of being chased that led to the nightmares. Though each of the three nightmares came several times by themselves, one night brought all three.

The first of them started like many others, with an eerily real and familiar location. It placed me laying in my bed. All of the perspective was from within my own body, making it seem even more realistic. Within the dream, I sat up, hearing a thumping sound. The light within my room, provided by a power strip and my alarm clock, then began to dim, letting the darkness of my room press in. Steadily, as I watched the french doors leading into my room, the thumps became louder and louder. The doors began to shiver on their hinges, and then shake heavily. The thumping turned into a knock, and then a heavy crack. The sound of wood breaking. The sound of a metal lock shearing. With one last, forceful shudder, the doors burst open. Standing there in the gap was an enormous mass of what looked to my dreaming mind to be a wall of blackness, darker than even the unlit recesses of my room. There at the center of it were two eyes, glowing like red coals and staring straight at me. Without a sound this wall of darkness swept across my room toward me. Just before it was able to reach me, I awoke. That dream came to me more than once, and it always left me in the same way: frightened, shivering, and panting for breath. On the night in question, however, the first led directly into the second.

The second dream continued in much the same footsteps. Again, I was placed within the “safety” of my bed. Even though this situation been laid before me several times in the past, again I felt that I had just woken up, though I was still solidly asleep. This time, instead of sitting up I remained looking at the wall next to my bed. In the same way as the first dream, the ambient light of the room began to dim and a light pressure came down on my bed behind me. Unable to move, I continued to look at the wall as my room light grew ever dimmer. As the lights fell, two glowing red points rose on the wall. They took shape and grew more intense, forming into the same two eyes that had stared out of the shadow from the first dream. The pressure on my back suddenly became more intense and moved up to my throat. I immediately began to cough and choke, trying to suck down breaths to no avail. When on its own, waking up from this dream would leave me gasping for air and clawing away the covers of my bed. As stated before, this night was not standard.

The third dream broke the formula and precedents set by the other two. As it started, I was laying in the middle of the floor in my room, staring up at the ceiling. Once again, my room was lit only by the glow of my alarm clock and the power strip under my dresser. As I lay on the floor, my body absolutely refused to respond when I tried to move, which is where I started to panic. It began to become much, much worse as the dream continued. Slowly, walking up toward my head from my feet, came the creature that had been haunting me in the former nightmares. This time, however, the creature took form. The shapeless shadows that had been its body before were now the limbs and body of a massive, gaunt wolf. It looked powerful and muscular, but almost skeletal at the same time. Set into its head were two red eyes. The same two red eyes that had been haunting me for so long. After what seemed like an eternity, it stopped, staring directly down at me, standing over my body. It was then that it spoke. The voice was not a single tone, but a dozen all at once, repeating the same words instantly in a mind shattering harmony. The seven words that it said still haunt me from time to time. “You can only run for so long.” In that whole time, it never once opened its mouth. After the final echo of the words ended in my mind, its mouth opened. Within were countless teeth, all gleaming a pure, flawless white in contrast to the black shadows forming its body. They came closer and closer to my neck and, while I was forced to stare upward, it bit into my neck. The pain was sharp, memorable, and incredibly real. A line of blood trickled down my neck, and I awoke.

Following that dream, I entered a period of incredibly poor sleep patterns, forcing myself to stay awake as long as possible so that my sleep would not produce dreams. That goal was unfortunately unattainable, though. In the scant few hours of sleep that I managed every night, the nightmares continued. I had the assumption that the bad dreams were tied to all of the stress of school, but my fear of talking about the dreams or the stress simply led to compounded problems. The nightmares became more frequent and more intense as the stress increased toward the end of the year. It was not until school was over that I was finally able to get back to a normal sleep schedule. As all of the stress lifted from school and household pressures, the dreams became less and less frequent until they finally ceased. Stress had never before and has never since been such a real problem for me.

I keep having this dream... Where i am killing someone... It;s incredibly real and perfect in every detail... The color of the organs, the texture... (I know the colors and texture of organs from all the documentrys i watch...) Anyway to go into the details here would be... Gruesome... to say the least... Not to mention "R Rated" But i am interupted by the police in my dream... and they shooting my directly thru the heart... I don't feel it... I don't die... I just stand there laughing at them until i awaken...

... Into my second dream... In this dream i am the one being killed... I can see myself ripping and slashing... It's... Creepy to say the least... if you need full detail you may PM me...

I dreamed I was a detective on a police force, and I was trying to bring down a part of the organized crime in the city. While trying to track him down, I witnessed at least 3 snipes, one took out my partner.

The guy I was after was in this night club loft when I found him. He was boasting about his kills--not just the ones he made in my dream, but killing children, working men and women, the old and disabled. We fought, pretty much destroyed everything in the loft. In the course of the fight, I lost my gun, so when I finally managed to roll on top of him, I reached for a shard of broken glass and stabbed it into his shoulder where it meets the neck.

Then he hisses, "I'll see you in hell."

I leaned down really close to his ear and whispered back, "You want to know a secret? There is no such thing as hell. Your next waking moment will be standing before God, answering for every single one of your crimes."

He gives me this horrified look, like he's afraid what I'm saying is actually true, and then I rip out the shard of glass from his shoulder and cut his jugular.

Then I woke up.

hey, Cal, is this shadow-wolf thing silver with a black back? or perhaps a mottled brown-grey?

anywho, some dreams of mine...i have night terrors...

there is one, in which i may find myself in one of severel possible locations. either in a dark room in the Blackice Castle, outside the Castle in the cold tundra up against the glacier to the west, or chained up in some pit with burning hellfire and freezing cold darkfire.

in any case, millions of scorpions and spiders of all different sizes, and sometimes also roaches or other bugs of monstrous proportions, cover my body, stinging me, biting me, eating me alive. i can feel them, feel my body being torn and stung and bitten and ripped and stabbed... i can feel th evenom entering me, the way it itches and stings and burns and freezes and shocks... sometimes i scream terrible horrible screams, and sometimes i can't. sometims i'll wake up and the nightmare won't go away and i'll still see it and feel it and hear it and taste it and smell it.... a couple times my screams went into my consiousness, so that awake (if you can call it that) i scream. there's no way to describe that scream i'm afraid, and Shan i know has heard it already and it terrified her.

another recurring dream i used to have when i was very little, i would be very little, about 3 or 4 years old, and my stepdad would take me on his paper route. he'd go to this little old nice lady's house, and give her her paper. her english bulldog would come out and chase me around, so i'd climb up this lightpost. and the dog would jump up at me and get closer each time, so i'd climb higher, and teh lightpost would get taller, and still each time the dog jumped it would get closer, it was trying to bite me. and then dad would forget me and drive off without me. then i'd wake up.

i also used to have a recurring dream about riding my bicycle from my bedroom out the door, into the yard, into the woods, and the woods woudl turn into this creapy jungle-maze, and i'd go thorugh it like ramps and loops and hoops, an make a jump through a dark opening in some bushes that looked like a mouth on a face... and i'd fall... and i'd be surrounded by darkness... and then i would land in the grassy field a bit to the left down teh road form the etrance to the woods. and then i'd go back and do it again but this time when i fell i'd fall into myself and wake up like i fell into bed.

i've had very few prophetic dreams before, but i tend to get vision dreams when exposed to an oracle or seer, or if i've been messing around with things i havn't....

Nope. The wolf is and was absolute black. Like...not even a color so much as an absolute absence of light. Kinda like a Black Hole, I guess. He's appeared in more than that dream, too. I've seen him quite a bit in my waking hours and have spent a good deal of time talking with him. It's...interesting. I'd be willing to answer questions on his behalf if any of you are curious.

When I'm stressed out I dream I'm a feline scooting about the place, and I commonly end up getting injured in some way.
Once I was running from something behind me, and I ran through some brambles, I could feel them tearing at my fur, and my skin, but I couldn't stop running.
I got through the brambles, and ran out onto a road, dodging a few cars, the last of which clipped me, I felt the tarseal dig into me as I barrelled off the road and into the ditch, I just lay there gasping, until someone came along and looked me over. They shone a light in my eyes and I woke up...the scariest part was waking up with cuts and grazes I hadn't gone to bed with.
About 2 years ago I woke up with what looked like a surgical inscision on my knee after a dream about being hit by a car (again), it's healed up now, but the scar is very similar to my grandfathers knee surgery scar.
Chaos seems to find these dreams amusing, and he turns up in them every so often...but I never see Iri. I tend to have these more often when I'm physically, mentally or emotionally stressed, a combination of vivid dreams like this and glandular fever kept me in a torpor for nearly a year. I've found rescue remedy and meditation help, but only so much.
