Character Name: Tatsuya Hasu

Physical apperance: Tatsuya stands at around 5’ 10”. He weighs around 170. He has a slim build but physically built since he does a lot of exercising. He’s 22 years old with medium length gray hair and green eyes. His hair falls to each side evenly and his bangs hang in front of eyes. He wears a tattered red scarf around his neck that hangs to about his shins. He has a leather chestplate on that rests over a white renaissance style shirt. The shirt is somewhat long and comes down between his knees and hips. He wears a leather belt over the shirt that keeps it from coming loose. Fastened to the belt is a sheathe for his scimitar. On the back of the belt is a sheathe for his dagger.On his chestplate he has made a few modifications; little clasps that hold his scythe and spear on his back in an X formation. He wears a silver gauntlet on his right arm and a fingerless black glove on his left hand. He has black pants with leather shin guards strapped on, and a nice pair of black shoes.

Personality: Tatsuya is a very introverted person. He doesn’t tend to speak and doesn’t trust easily. If you’ve proven yourself to him he might just talk to you unless he has something he needs to say. When he speaks about things to those he doesn’t trust, it’s usually short, terse and to the point. He doesn’t see eye to eye with the people sided with light or dark on everything but agree on some points with each.

Occupation: Mercenary

Biography: Tatsuya should never have existed. His “parents” created him when they were doing experiments with the elements by mistake. By combining all of the elements at once, the lab they were working in exploded, leaving behind a small child of about 8 years of age. The reason behind his creation? The five legendary creatures: Suzaku, Genbu, Seiryuu, Byakko and Koryu saw what was happening on the Earth and decided they could have a little fun by placing a “wild card” of sorts upon the world; Tatsuya. In the midst of the explosion that created him, they placed a small part of themselves inside of him in the form of mystical energies that when touched certain objects, would react with them.
Tatsuya was already as smart as the average adult upon his creation and only grew smarter from there. He continued to grow, fending for himself and taking odd jobs as he aged. Around 19 he began taking harder jobs, life threatening ones. They took him to different settlements and historic areas left behind for ages long forgotten. In them housed weapons that when touched seemed to come to life in his hands. They were weapons left behind in ancient times by the five creatures to help fight in previous wars. After three long years he discovered four of the weapons when they spoke to him about the dagger and where it was located. After finally locating this final relic, the creatures revealed to him the powers they had given him. The weapons which seemed to be old and not able to use anymore suddenly changed, each becoming different colors and styles, representing the element and creature they took after.

Name of weapon: Suzaku’s Scythe

Weapon Skill: Flame Pillars: Tatsuya strikes the ground with the scythe, which releases a seismic blast shifting the plates of the earth, causing massive pillars of fire to rise out of the ground and decimate his opponents.
Description: The scythe is made of orihalcum and is a fiery red and orange all the way to the blade. The blade appears to have cracks in it where a darker red can be shown, but it was made like that to show the element it controls.

Weapon Skill: Blade of Ice: The scimitar is covered in a mystical aura that conveys the sense of cold. When struck, the nerves send signals to the brain that make them believe that the part of the body that was struck is frozen, and can’t move for a period of time.
Description: A normal looking scimitar with a light blue tint. The handle has leather wrapped around it for a better grip.

Weapon Skill: Empty Slicer: The dagger goes translucent for a bit and any slash made causes multiple void slashes to come forth.
Description: A grey dagger that looks worn and to have seen many a battle. Simple style knife but the handle has holes in it to put your fingers through.

Name of weapon: Byakko’s Spear

element: Wind
Weapon Skill: Raging Winds: Tatsuya holds the spear above his head and begins to spin it rapidly, causing a massive whirlwind to appear around him. Causes damage and acts as a temporary shield.
Description: The shaft is made of a very strong material, while the head is made of simple metal. It’s colored a light green and there are feathers hanging off of it just below the head of the spear.

Name of weapon: Seiryuu’s Gauntlets

element: Lightning
Weapon Skill: Lightning Claw: Lightning covers the gauntlet and any strike made with it hurts slightly more then the last. Can instantly knock out enemies of weaker constitution.
Description: A gauntlet worn on Tatsuya’s right arm. Made of a silver metal with spots that look burnt. The hand has claws on the end for attacking and for grabbing things if he’s falling.

okay, your um... void element is not allowed. No mix of light and dark. You can have light OR dark, or you can change void to be unrelated to light and dark. the element itself is fine, but you cannot use light and dark with it.
also, weapon abilities do not take effect until they get to 10 points... just a heads up.

Edited: Changed Void to be the element left behind when the five elements clash. It's not as powerful as any of the other elements if it were up against the an element. I had asked Aine about the void before I posted it the first time but didn't mind changing it, I never really care for void elements either but it just fits this character with him being "grey" and not meant to exist. Alright, thanks for the info on the 10 points, didn't see that anywhere.
