Air, Fire, Water, Earth, guard my body tonight.
I leave my form still on the floor.
My spirit free and dancing through the darkness,
I touch the Goddess moon.

The soul Wolves roam about,
racing through the twilight.
Pack leader welcomes me,
Care to run? she asks.

We run for nothing but the joy of it,
We run from nothing but the sky,
We run to accomplish nothing.
We run for the love of it,

So come with us, my girl?
I nod and we take off through the stars.
Seeing the planets pass beneath my feet,
I realize how far I've come

I wasn't tired, because I didn't breathe
I wasn't thirsty because I didn't drink
I just existed, untouched by human needs,
Filled with human emotions.

With every leap our hearts grew closer,
With every mile our bond grew stronger,
With every laugh or cry of joy I loved her more,
My dearest spirit wolf.

My dearest, return home now, she says.
I will always be here, I am eternal
I will always be near you, I love you
We will always be together, in spirit.

I returned to my room grudgingly,
Feeling so loney,
knowing I was never alone.
Beloved Wolf, I whisper, I'll see you tomorrow
