I'd be very happy if you'd view/crit/comment anyways. As the description says, I'm not very happy with it... I think it turned out more Disney-ish than the original sketch intended it to...

Hnnn... I see what you mean. Probably because the fingers are too round at the tip? Also, (I think yours looks good as well) the anime style tends to have more detail in it such as accurate lines for the shoulders and arms. Asides from that, I really don't know what else to say.
