I have been a fan of the sailor moon anime forever, but i started reading the manga series last week and i finished the last one today. It's really different from the anime. I know most manga's are but they left a lot out of the anime. but I really loved it ^^; especially all the side stories. I loved the school girl battles or w/e it was. My favorite one was when Mina went to school with Rei...it was hilarious. so, the point of this thread is....
Have you ever read the manga? if so do you prefer it too the anime?? and what was your favorite series???

I really like the Stars series because they so more of my favortie sailor, Sailor Saturn. I have say after that it is the Super series.

I like them both but I like the anime more, just because theres more of it.. most of the sailor moon manga I own is in japanese..
do you have the Sailor V manga?

I was going to start a new thread, but I'll ask here, since we have some people here who have knowledge of the manga.

Did Endymion's kingdom on Earth ever get a name (during the Silver Millenium)? I know it wasn't in the anime or live-action, and not in any of the SeraMyu that I've seen, but I'm less familiar with the manga.

I've seen fan sites call it the "Golden Kingdom", but I'm looking for manga confirmation on that.

Anyone? smile

I'm fairly sure his kingdom was Rome. But I don't believe it was ever named. It's probably called Golden Kingdom because of hs Golden Crystal.

As far as I know, Endymion's Kingdom was simply known as the Golden Kingdom.

It wasn't in Rome.. It was never named so.

Personally I think that hunk of land in Russia where no one lives and it's always covered in ice.


That would be the ideal place for it... but meh.


I prefer Manga over Anime. But I still like the Anime too. XD


I, too, feel bad for Adonis- even thought I didn't read it all I got the glist of it.

I can't tell you where in the manga it's stated to be the Golden Kingdom, but in the anime I believe it's Helios that tells us what Endymion's Kingdom is called seeing as Helios was the priest residing their to guard the Golden Crystal.

Very much tragic. That's why I like involving him in fan fiction... I love the love story between Adonis and Minako.

Says that it's the golden kingdom- no, but it was Named Elysion. The sacred temples and the palace were on the same grounds.


(though I could be wrong but I didn't see it...>>; wink

Where the Kingdom was located- nope. But it's a good guess. Naoko didn't give it a place. I'm guessing the barren lands in Russia because it would be a good guess and why no one lived there.
