Ethral Range

[Doctor Corn]

Ethral may be the home of a great city, but nothing can beat the grand beauty of Ethral Range. A great natural bridge created shortly after a great battle between two of the Genesis's spans a one hundred foot canyon under which a mighty river rages. Some great king of the past must have built the once great castle on the other side of the bridge, but it has since fallen into general disrepair. This is a haunt frequently visited by Alex and Itazuki, as it makes a great place to hide out and lay low for a few weeks. The river is fed by a huge waterfall which drops in to the west of the castle. Situated about fifty miles from Ethral City, it is truly a sight to behold. The waterfall is the main source of Ethral's water supply.

Itazuki walked out of the black door that hung above the ground. As he stepped out he almost fell off the edge of the steep cliff that resided next to the vast waterfall. He looked around and felt the cool air running past his ears. He was amazed by the beautiful landscape of the Ethral Mountains.

Calypso once again fell out of the sky from the dimension portal and instead of creating a dramatic entrance like last time, he simply landed on two feet and ended in a position with one knee dropped.

"You know you can always make the portal a little closer to the ground. Or better, don't have it in the air!" Calypso said as he rose on his feet and began to take in what was in front of his eyes.

"It's not a beach or an oasis...but i can get used to this."

Calypso first took in the fact that it was not baking like it was in the wastelands; it was just about the right temperature. This made the platinum haired warrior glad because if he was at the wastelands any longer, he may have had to take off his cape and just have no shirt on with his armor equipped. The clouds were a bit clody, but that was okay with Calypso, especially with what he possessed.

The platinum haired warrior walked towards the edge of the Ethral Range and took in the beautiful waterfall that was crashing down into the river heading west towards another place that the platinum haired warrior was unaware of. The waterfall even looked good enough to drink and looked good enough to fall in. Plus the fact that it looked like they were dozens of feet away from the ground only made the platinum haired warrior considered this place his official training ground.

"The gang is almost here, but more women would not be bad. Back to what i was saying, the girl here, or your student is not all that, but i'd would still try to get in a relationship with her. Maybe it's the eyes that keeps me interested; if only she would just stop resisting and just admit how irrestible i am. Is it that hard?"(1)

Viper came crashing down upon the head of silver tongue boy. If sucessful her foot would have planted into his face, which she would then use to kick of and back flip away and next to her Senpaii. She rolled her eyes. " not a chance in the afterlife" She stated plainly and then looked to examine the surrounding area. It was indeed beautiful.

Riki fell to the earth and watched himself fall. He used a standard freerun landing and he anticipated the landing. Once his feet touched the ground he continued the fall til he was crouched and his arms touched, thus making the shock go to his legs and hands evenly protecting his joints and back. Riki stood up and took in the scene. He looked around and saw the girl shooting out at the other guy and laughed a little. "Well theres one point for her, care to step up to the plate again?"Riki again looked around and saw multiple areas he could practice with his bow.

Calypso continued to walk around his new training grounds, taking everything in slowly. Calypso was unsure if it was a minute or less than a minute since he has been here but it looked like the others were going to take a while. Calypso then began to walk around in circles with his hands behind his head looking at the clouds. All of a sudden the portal opened and Calypso saw a dirty foot heading straight for his good looking face. Calypso could have done a few things in this situation such as hold his hand out in an attempt to balance her, which would most likely fail and cause the girl to land roughly. However Calypso accepted his face being a trampoline as he got a glimpse of more than just the ladies feet as Viper landed without harm.

Another portal opened and it was Riki, the one who wanted a taste of Calypso's abilites. Unlike the platinum haired warrior's entrance, Riki's was more safe to say the least. After hearing what Riki had to say, Calypso decided to say what he had to say as he was wiping his face.

"I gave her that point but i would not mind stepping on her plate for payback." Calypso told Riki before he addresed Viper.

"You know usually, women come up to me and ask for my name. Only a few dozen or more that i just met however end up being on top of me in the middle of nowhere; needless to say, i knew it. Nice underwear by the way."(2)

Itazuki looked around the beautiful place; he gathered that the others liked it as well. His face eccentric, because the pupil covering his entire eye left a permanent mark, it was constantly fidgeting with itself, constant motion then the pupil would dilate. He looked around the cliff and drowned out the noise, not by plugging his ears, that could not work, but by meditating to the state of euphoric. A mental state of eternal bliss, but then he lunged forth and dove off the cliff and fell down next to the waterfall. The cool water splashing across his face, brought a smile, then he turned and headed into the white fog that met with the plummeting waters below and above.

Then back where the main group was, thin black clouds arose from the ground then spiraled quickly and then centralized in a single spot that grew wider and longer to it was able to fit a person. Itazuki’s face just popped out from the darkness.

“Hey…what’s up?” Itazuki said stepping out from the sphere. That will never get old. Itazuki thought, then instantly turned his attention on what he would do to train her. He seemed like the attention was not on him, so he devised of a plan to get some. But then it now occurred to him that he could manually control the size of his pupils, with that in mind he made his pupil the size of an olive and ran forward with his blade drawn. He shouted a frantic phrase. "HAHA...I'm gonna kill and rape your body....HAHA!" He then ran for Viper but soon stopped and sheathed his sword. "No..." He laughed a bit and hoped no one caught that. "Ok lets get started....First try and hit me..."

Orochi had been at the new training grounds the whole time but was hidden by a dome of fire around his body and no one noticed. He fanned his arms out and the suppressing flames subsided in the drifts of calming wind. As he stood up the rays of sunlight made the clouds part and the light overwhelmed the boy’s back and gave him a godly appearance till the light ended. His naked chest was having heat rise off from it. A new stream of confidence echoed from his voice. “I can take any of you, any time any where…” He did not fully realize his actions were stupid but knew that having been accepted by some one to train him made him breathe self-confidence and made the bolstering eyes to vanish. He stood tall and mighty with little flames dancing off from his shoulders. Till this point he had been holding back his talent of the flame, now he wanted to use it with all he had. A wave of boiling heat erupted from his core and swept past every one amidst him. A loss of breath and exhaustion would be felt by everyone that was hit by this wave but it would be completely unnoticeable to defend against.

After Viper landed, her face became hiden in her bangs. A soft blush livening up her marble smooth cheeks. He was definately a perv.... Her embaressment did not last long, along with the Riki's comment and rolled her eyes and crouched down, unwrapping her feet, as there was no sand to burn her feet. Since they were clean she rolled then up and they suddenly disappeared into her sleeve.
When she heard Itazuki heading right twords her, his sword drawn, she frowned. Either he was going to kill her, or he was pulling a trick. Though she noticed his speed was much slower then before. She sighed, Her senpaii seemed to never have had his sanity.
She didnt seem to notice when he slowed down and claimed he was joking. When he spoke of hitting him, she looked at him curiously. She didnt looked to be moving. Or even getting ready to hit him. She was actually examining a sure way to attack with little failure. Head on, easy to block. From behind, trickery to get into position for that attack. Then she just decided to try something. She walked over to him calmly, raised her hand, and made to flick him in the forehead. Not really sure if it would made contact, but it was a hit. Just most likely not the kind he was expecting.

"Orochi, draw your weapon." Riki drew his blade with the glowing blue edge and pointed it at Orochi. "Let's see what you've learned so far and see if we can't find flaws, fix them, and profect your style."

Itazuki was unsure of what she was about to do but then she flicked him on the forehead. He then realized he did not make his point across. He blinked a bit and held his hand over his mouth. “Ok…I guess you did not understand.” Itazuki said walking backwards for a bit and stood up strait. “Attack me with the intent to kill, once you do that, we can start our training…” An ominous silence proceeded.

She sighed. He said hit... not kill. Why did men make things so difficult. Not that it really matter. She smiled to herself. She let her face go blank as she prepared herself. She examined him for a second time, though this time her eyes were slitted. Examining for the best attack.
When she finished, she Bolted straight for him. She was pretty quick, and with it she kept herself low to the ground, while she was running she had uunsheathed Cherry Blossom... The once innocent looking sword, began black and tainted, its true presence making itself known.
Upon reaching Itazuki, she ducked and went behind him. She brought the seething sword down to place it against his neck. If this attack were to work, she would be standing with a knees against his back, the Black blade to his neck. This attack was used by her plenty of times to produce a clean sliced off head, with little blood spatter hitting her. " Like this Senpaii?" She asked quietly. Mimicing the voice of an innocent girl. Though The black sword made it hard for her to keep conscious. Her serpent tattoo, glowing through the her sleeve. The Sky already beginning to turn a stormy color. IT looked as if it were about to produce a hurricane, though no wind blew, not rain poured and there was no sign of lightning anywhere... it was dead calm.

The platinum haired warrior was seen away from Itazuki and the girl's range; they were able to spar freely without Calypso's interruption(except his comments). In addition, he was not introduced into the full force of the fire user's heat wave attack. Instead, the platinum haired warrior just wiped his head as he felt sweat forming. Normally the platinum haired warrior would have thought that it was the weather.

However, Orochi made it clear to everybody that he was responsible for the heat wave attack. The man's new confidence, and the motioning of his hands said it all. Calypso did not see the attack as anything special though for he assumed that everybody here had enough talent to produce something similar.

It looked like the platinum haired warrior refused to be a team player and trained with the others; instead he was watching Itazuki and the girl fight. If the girl did happen to look towards Calypso, she did not have to worry about his eyes wandering off in certain places. Calypso was done checking her out and was interested in her abilities.

As he continued watching the two fight, he noticed that the clouds began to turn dark and looked similar to a thunderstorm. Calypso was suprised by this and did not want to jump to conclusions as to how it formed. On the contrary, if his hypothesis was correct, then perhaps the girl and Calypso were meant to be..(3)

Orochi rubbed his nose for he found a person that would be willing to fight him, and then he said draw his weapon. Orochi frowned because he had no one weapon. He never had one, never trained with one and never needed one. Orochi used his fists and legs to fight then fire to top of the dangerous combo of attacks. He said quickly and his tone invigorating. “I have no weapons…” His stutter seemed to have been suspended for a time. “Go…” He said thrusting out his hand with the fingertips pointing at his foe, he was ready for combat.

Itazuki was now going to get attacked; he kept his eyes steady as much as he could, when he thought she was going to deliver a direct attack, he ducked and maneuvered around him and went for a head slice. Itazuki was the head assassin leader of the rebellion…which meant nothing but he knew how assassin’s mind works. Attack from behind was their initiative, so he knew this was bound to happen on a intent to kill attack, most assassin rarely attack head on when they plan to end some ones life, so why would she be any different. Itazuki however was different, if he wanted to, he would bring a gun and shoot the target point blank. The blade fell from his sling, he grabbed it and had the blade pointing down, and he blocked the sword with his own decrepit blade of evil. He flung his arm forward making her blade go in the other direction. He then turned and gave a smile of grief.
