and if a girl walked in it she would probably walk right out.
I'm contemplating taking them down, I love video games, but enough that everyone has to know it's a big part of my life when I walk in the door? I dunno.
The point of this thread: If I'm trying to impress a girl, do you think it's justifiable for me to take down Nintendo posters in my room? Sure, it's a big part of who I am, but not enough that I won't waste my time with a girl who might be discouraged seeing 27 posters from video games and anime on my wall.
I'm not asking for advice, I know where I stand in this situation. I'm just curious what you all think. Would you do it in my situation?

You can't deny who you are.
But if you want to be on the safe side, try taking just some of them down, at least like... half of them.

Take them all down. Then put one more up every time she comes over.

Posters are kinda tacky as you get older anyway.

[Kegan] Posters are kinda tacky as you get older anyway. Yea, there's definitely that too. I don't think having about 30 posters in my room of different video games is a great way to show that I'm a keeper. >_>

People who don't have taste should develop it.
Watch an hour of HG TV a day, or like, chat with me about the finer points of architecture and room lighting. cool

Where do you get all your posters? If you're gonna take 'em down, you hsould send them to me : D
I'd keep some of them up, at least. If being a gamer is part of who I am, then I'd need to show that, at least show a bit that it's a part of your life.

If being a gamer is part of who I am, then I'd need to show that, at least show a bit that it's a part of your life. Most of them are just from a Nintendo Power poster book, so half of them are just up because they're video games. I'll keep a couple up, I have this Trainspotting rip off poster about video gaming that I couldn't take down, too funny. Perhaps my Mega Man ones because I love the blue bomber. I also have a huge Halo one, that would be such a waste.

Being a gamer doesn't involve poor taste.
Having poor taste doesn't even mean you like video games.
