I just want to say Avtar's plot may have been cliche bu the visuals were worth it. I would recomend everyone go see it in theaters and you need to see it in 3-D! mrgreen wahmbulance dramallama

Haha then you two need to see it asap! It was amazing, the graphics were stunning and although the plot was a little cliche I still say it had a fair amount of originality to it. Overall I'd say its been the best movie I've seen in a very long time. ^^

A couple of my favorites are "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch", both by Guy Ritchie. Lots of good cast, lots of good lines, lots of hopping around from scene to scene done well (if not just laid on nice n thick with aforementioned good cast n lines (it's hard to ignore a film that jumps from Jason Statham to Dennis Farina to Brad Pitt to Vinnie Jones etc.)). Plenty of violence and cursing in both, so enjoy with out the children. blaugh

As soon as the first movie starts you see the original puppet master stop Nazis from getting his secret of how to bring inanimate objects (like his puppets) to life. Fast forward to the nineties and the puppets are killing psychic investigators in an abandoned hotel.
In the second one they kill government employed paranormal investigators in the same abandoned hotel, as well as some of the locals. After locating the corpse of their former master they give him the last of their animation potion so he can create more of it for them. But he's crazy from being dead and makes a new puppet as well as more of the elixir.
The third Puppet Master is an origins kinda thing. It takes place in Nazi Germany and ignores the plot n continuity n story n all of the prior movies - which helped a lot, actually. The cast of puppets does not diminish (instead they have one never before seen), and you see a couple from the first movies being created (kinda neat). The live cast did the best acting out of the three films and the plot gave you something more than sex scenes/sex talk and killer puppets (which was all up in the first two movies (no complaints)).
Put short: Killer puppets. Struggling plot.
