Calypso vs Riku

This used to be a place where one could walk in an apprentice of a weapon or an element and walk out a skilled warrior. After the events taking place after Calypso's departure, the place is now empty. However everything is still in it's original place; as if it has been empty days or weeks before it became empty.

The platinum haired warrior stood ready on the second floor with the mirrors behind him, waiting for his guest to arrive at any moment. Once he arrived, there would only be a few words from Calypso before their fight would began.

"I hope you like what i done with the place. This is what you wanted right?" Calypso told his guest, as if he knew his guest wanted to clash blades with the platinum haired warrior for a while.

"Let's see if you can keep me excited for a while." were the last words before Calypso awaited an attack from his guest. Hopefully he would meet him here and they would begin but if plans were changed, the platinum haired warrior always had backups.

Riku looked up from his book at Calypso with puzzlement. "Shhhh, I'm trying to study."Riku raised his book back to his face. It was an old book, about 2000 years old. It was a love story with battles, the fall of man and a talking snake. Riku knew what he wanted, he didn't really want to but he was there so he picked out a book and took his seat by a fire that for some reason was burning. Neveah lay asleep at his feet.


"So why exactly do you want to fight me, master of lightning? You know I am no match for you and you are stronger then my old master; my fight with him didn't last long. What is your purpose?"As Riku finished he looked up from his book with a curious look in his eyes. He was ready to fight, his wrapped blade was laying up against his chair.

"Looks like we picked up a new friend." Calypso said as he had a smirk on his face while Riku was reading the love story. The book was not Calypso's favorite, but since females were into that kinda thing, the platinum haired warrior decided to give it a shot.

Calypso began to walk around the second floor as he listened to Riku. And it seemed like he had a point. Why would someone of Calypso's level fight somebody that is not at the same or higher than himself? Surely Riku was not the lucky contestant to test Calypso's new powers.

"Master of lightning? You are making me blush; how can you be so sure that i am a master of lightning? As for your old teacher.." Calypso said to Riku.

The platinum haired warrior did not like the term "master." He felt that the term "teacher" was better, since that was what Itazuki was to Riku-a teacher.

"You were his student. Surely you did not expect a fight with him to last long. If it lasted to the point where both of you were out of it, more than likely, he would have nothing more to teach you. But enough about my wisdom no one listens to; im bored, and you need practice."

Calypso took a book out of a section as he continued his walk towards the second floor, now facing Riku and his pet.

"Besides, how do you expect to get stronger to take on the darkness?" Calypso asked as he slinged the book towards Riku.

At the same time he appeared next to the warrior as the book was halfway towards Riku. Calypso would wait until the book connected towards Riku's book where he would deliver a slice downward towards Riku's lap.(edit)

Riku grabbed his blade and shunpo'd out of his seat dodging under the book and turning to face Calypso. "That was a cheap shot, so much for training."

Riku held out his wrapped blade in form 1 as it began to expand and rip of the wrapping. It was now in form two. Neveah was standing by Riku with her eyes glowing ready to attack. "No Neveah, he is a friend, go lay down while we practice."

Neveah walked away to the couch and jumped up to lay there. The little wolf cub of light kept her eyes on the two.

"I wouldn't say cheap shot; more like a shot you should have avoided." The platinum haired warrior said as he noticed the speed Riku possessed.

Calypso watched as Riku took out a new blade that the platinum haired warrior has not seen before. In Calypso's eyes, it looked like Riku got a massive makeover. However if Riku lacked the skill, then the makeover would not have mattered.

"Looks like we got a new makeover from last time." Calypso said.

Neveah seemed to be hostile towards Calypso, wanting to be by Riku's side during the session the two were going to have. Riku however refused and told the wolf to have a seat somewhere.

"Care to start us off?" Calypso said to Riku as he began to walk towards the new warrior at a medium pace.

Riku smiled. "Thank you, good luck...I'd hate to die." Riku began walking to him and then began to speed up until he was in a flat out run. His blade was dragged behind him. Not because it was a massive blade, but because of what he was going to do. The blade was tearing a large scar in the floor as it went sending tile pieces up.

Riku jumped about 6 or 7 feet in the air once he reached Calypso. He spun in a 360 degree turn arching his blade up and around him. As he came down he brought his blade down on Calypso in a arch over his body. Riku was using his own strength plus the weapons weight for power in this attack.

Calypso continued his medium pace walking while Riku decided to raise the bar. After a leap in the air by the new warrior of light and a massive downward slash, the platinum haied warrior stepped to the right side and pivoted 90 degrees. That way, when Riku's blade hit the ground instead of Calypso, the platinum wonder would face Riku's left side.

Calypso sliced in a horizontal direction twice; one towards the left shoulder of Riku and towards the tricep of Riku. The slashes went from left to right and right to left and would leave 4-5 inch wounds. If sucessful, more than likely it would be a bit difficult for Riku to handle the massive weapon of light. Of course, Calypso did not know Riku's strength; the platinum boy would only have to see.

Riku's weapon continued downward hitting the floor, but Riku had slowed it a bit to not break the floor. Still in the air he touched with one foot and pushed himself up and over his blade, spinning his body and throwing his blade up a little. He landed and caught his blade while spinning to face Calypso's blade. He had dodged the first strike and brought his blade to clash with the second strike. "Hmmm, too bad your skill with a weapon isn't has good as your skill with flirting. Pity."

"Too bad like my both of those skills, i don't even have to try and i get good results."

Calypso's blade clashed with Riku's weapon which was not expected from the platinum haired warrior. It was not the end of the world though for they had just begun.

Calypso then sliced diagonally towards the left quadricep of Riku and in motion, jumped and began to flip horizontally with his blade out at a face pace to where he was able to unleash 7 strikes before landing back on the ground. The strikes aimed towards the frontal area of Riku, but mostly towards the face, chest, and abs.

(fyi this fight takes place in the future...your guy shouldn't know Riku is alive still lol this also explains why he can wield the blade here but in the range hes still getting use to the weight.)


Riku had gotten use to his blade's weight so well that he moved it with ease. The sheer size of the blade required little movement to block the attacks, but Riku still moved as fast as he could to fully block them so he could train. One snuck in however and got a little taste of blood from Riku on his chest. It was a scratch really but still something that he needed to improve on. Riku pivoted to face him and held his blade with two hands in a defensive stance. Ready for the next attack.

After the combo ended, Calypso landed sideways with his blade facing Riku and in a squat position. It looked like Riku was capable of moving the blade with more ease now since he blocked the majority of the attacks. Calypso raised up and turned to face Riku, who was already prepared for another attack.

Calypso then took his blade to his lips and pretended to lick Riku's blood off of the blade before he smacked his lips as if he was finished eating a delicious meal.

"Was that over the top? I could never tell." the platinum haired warrior said towards Riku as he let out a small laugh before he continued their session.

Calypso pointed his blade towards the head of Riki while he began to walk at a medium pace like before.

Riku smiled as his blade began to glow. He moved it in a mixture of horizontal and vertical slashes with light scars coming from his blade. Every single one missed, or did they. The ground under Calypso began to shake as the strikes had sliced through the thin flooring and made a large hole. The floor began to fall apart and fall to the 1st floor. Riku smiled as he watched. "Was that over the top? I could never tell."

Riku flipped backward and off the 2nd floor landing on the first floor in a kneeling position. He wasn't finished just yet, he hated that floor for some reason. He sent to more light scars, to his left and then his right. Both hitting the support beams and slicing them in half while the whole floor came crashing down. "You'd think they would put thicker support beams in this room. Shame."

Calypso increased the pace that he was walking when he saw Riku's blade begin to produce an aura. It looked like this battle was going to be increased up a few levels. It turned out that the fight was going to be increased by a few levels. Plus things were coming down a few levels for the warriors.

A feeling similar to an earthquake was felt under the feet of Calypso after Riku attacked the floor that was supporting him. Second later, cracks appeared on the floor Calypso was standing on and began to fall to the first floor. It was a good trick by Riku but it could have been better. Calypso ran towards the left and leaped a few feet just in case to avoid falling to the first floor.

Calypso kept running along the second floor while Riku continued his assault on the higher floor. When Riku was finished, the second floor containng more books was completely out of shape to where the cases containing the books began to crash down towards the books on the first floor.

As a result, the cases knocked down the cases on the first floor. The majority of them fell like dominos while only one on each side looked like a triangle, or a tent, allowing small space between the two cases.

"Over the top? More like a cheap shot, so much for training"

Now they were on the ground as Calypso looked around him with a dissapointed look.

"You're cleaning this up when we're finished." Calypso told Riku as he pointed at him before rushing him with his blade fully extended pointed out on his right side.

He continued his rush until he suddenly stopped a few feet in front of Riku, killing most chances of a counter-attack. Calypso sliced diaognally upward towards the left and right shoulder of Riki before he brought his right arm over his body so his blade hand was touching his left shoulder. Calypso faked a slice towards the upper portion of the body by jerking his blade hand before squatting and unleashing a strong strike towards the waist of Riku, leaving a scar from hip to hip.

Riku, whose defense position was still to have his blade in front of him at a 45 degree angle protecting his body swatted away the first strike. The second, however, looked like it would have more bite since he took the time to bring the blade back. Riku jumped backwards out of Calypso's reach, but not his and brought blade down at Calypsos'. Riku expected to clash blades until Calypso ducked for a lower attack so more then likely Riku's blade would push Calypos' to the ground and hold it there. Riku would take advantage once Riku's blade trapped the other blade by vaulting around his own blade in a swinging motion to send a roundhouse kick at Calypso's face on his right side.

Riku's blade seemed to have Calypso's blade trapped while Riku was able to attempt a counter-attack. Calypso thought he eliminated possibilities of one but he was wrong. More than likely however Calypso was not going to do that attack again. The platinum haired warrior knew it was risky and yet went for it; how typical of him.

Calypso's blade would not receive punishment for it's user's mistakes for the platinum haired warrior quickly dismissed his blade and summoned it in his left hand. The blade was in good hands but not the gorgeous face. The platinum haired warrior ended in a squat position so he tried to bring his left blade hand towards his face to weaken the blow a bit. It was successful, but Calypso still felt the hit which caused him to fall towards the right and do 2 rotations on the ground before he looked up towards the ceiling.

"That hurt.." the platinum haired warrior thought.
