Following up on the announcement of the GREATEST REMAKE EVARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, there's a few new screens up for NBA Jam on the Wii.

Check 'em out here.

Loving the visual style. So ridiculous.

I remember having a game like this on the SNES and I surprisingly did not hate it like most sports games, except that one that had a combination of robots playing baseball and having mech fights on the NES. That was pretty cool.

Anyway yeah. Allegro could teach T and J a thing or two about being black.

There's also Mutant League Football and Mutant League Hockey, where you could win by murdering the entire roster of your opponent.

It's a Gawker blog.

Also, Fahey hates the Wii.

It was Plunkett who made that comment.

I don't understand why Totilo would go to work with these guys. It's like they're teenagers.

I read about this game in Nintendo Power. Although I still do have the firm belief that sports games should not exist, possibly excluding Wii Sports, the expressions of the players are hilarious.

Clearly you haven't played the right sports games.

@Wayne: I think he's just building up rep before he starts his own venture.

Mostly cause the typical titles are pumped out yearly by big corporations like EA.
There's plenty of fun titles off the beaten path (though that number's much smaller nowadays.)

Mario Strikers, NFL Blitz, NBA Jam, BLADES! OF! STEEL! Mutant League, there's all sorts.

I see your thread titles still emit pure topic-relevant information.

The confusing titles draw people in.

"What the ******** is he talking about? Is it relevant to my interests? Oh, it's an NBA Jam reference."
