The forest of Light

[Hakora vi Britannia]

A forest once consumed with darkness reawakened by the power of light.

Cry appears from a shadow inside the forest.His eyes still have no pupils his arms hung as thou they were numb.Hhe grabbed a cigerate from his pouch on his arm.He lit it and began to walk.It seems even thou he's brain dead he hasnt forgotten the basics of him.His hair droops over his eyes his ciggerate hung loosley from his lips and smoke was carried away by the air.His gun handle could be seen shaking along with his sword.But only slightly they were trying to connect.Cry let out a grunt and moved his head from the left to the right.It seems the moment of his equipment was annoying him.As he walke dit got darker as he entered deeper into the forest.The mist surronding his legs got darker and darker.But soon Cry reached a cliff that wasnt to high and seemed to have a small river under it and beyond that a cave.The mist surronding his legs looked as thou it was sliding down the cliff side.He smoked three cugerates on his way here.His last one was in his mouth it was half full.He was standing at the edge of the cliff side.Cracking of sicks could be heard and tree branches and the faint sound of growling.Cry turned his head to see what was behind him.Out of no where a huge human looking monster jumped out holding what looked like a club.It charged Cry.While Cry puulled out his sword to try to block the beasts he was able to but at a cost.The monster swung his club at him it his the blade of the sword and the club was sliced in half but a small piece kocked cry in the chest and made him fly off the cliff falling into the river as he got closer his body turned in different motions in the air while he was free falling.Blood escaped his mouth as he fell.He landed in the river the water seemed strange it was red.He made a hugr splash as he fell into the bottom of the lake.He heard a voice in his head.{I cant let you die while your so close.}Cry floated back up to the surface and drifted into the cave entrance.

Riku approached, the darkness was trying to consume him, but his inner light was stronger. Strong enough for all of them. His skin was glowing a bit brighter then normal, but he didn't look weird. The light covered the three of them and kept the darkness at bay. His mark began to glow blue as darkness was near. He looked at Viper and smiled.c"I promise I will let no harm come to you, you are strong and together we'll make it through...plus we have Axel and hes kinda nuts."Riku entered the forest with Neveah walking along side him also radiating a light. She had more power and control then Riku of the light but she was a wolf of light, born from light. Her parents were both killed by the darkness before she was born, but the good in this world made her still be born and able to aid this world for change. Riku cared for her and would protect her just as much as she would him.

Viper felt honored as they trudged on, though she remained above him, almost floating through the dark mist. Fang seemed almost completely hidden underneath, except for two glowing orbs piercing through the dank and darkened mist. She gave a soft chuckle as he mentioned Axel being nuts, as it was true! well only a little bit.
She looked around this place Zefer no slanted over her shoulder, once sheather under her Kimono which was ruined in the city... And Cherry Blossom Remained in Fang's belly. As holding that sword made her feel tainted, while Fang did not seemed bothered by it. She gave a small cough then suddenly picked up something. She looked around all alert. " Riku... Did you hear something?" She asked, as Fang took the hint and stopped.She looked at him and frowned.

"No, its ok Viper. Fang keep your eyes open." Riku remained calm on the matter when in fact he had heard the noise, he had heard more then one in fact. He pressed on to keep everyone calm and not let them know that since they had entered the forest they had been followed. Riku slowly moved his hand to his blade so not to startle the others. "This forest is not right, I smell blood."That alerted Riku fast enough right before the attack. Out of the woods jumped a horrible beast. It looked like a werewolf but much more deadly, evil and wild; it made a werewolf look like a puppy. As it jumped for Riku he turned ripping out his blade and slicing the beast across its waist, in half spilling its blood around him on the ground. "What was that thing? THERES MORE COMING!!!!!!"

"Alright! Now we're getting somewhere. We may be in the middle of nowhere, but we're getting somewhere."

Sonya looked towards the top of the forest and was not suprised at the face that the sky was gone from her sight. What looked like clouds seemed to be fog which more than likely revealed more trees if one were to see or pierce through the fog. Not to mention the fog that was in the distance only made it more...exciting, as her ally would say.

"Looks like the darkness element got ahold of this forest. The trees don't even look aged, nor do the plants."

"All i know is that there better be some action in these here parts." Calypso said as he summoned his blade in his right hand and gave it two twirls before he extended his arm fully towards his right leg, letting the blade run down almost to the ground.


Sonya then heard a few noises from the right, which caused her to quickly turn her head towards the right, hoping to get at least a glimpse of whatever was out there. She held the hilt of her blade that was held behind her back thanks to the symboite with her left hand and tried to track the movements for whatever was out there was getting closer; most likely looking for blood.

Calypso looked over to Sonya with his peripheral vison and saw here not so much in a stance ready for combat, but ready to draw her weapon. Calypso could feel something moving closer to them as well, but the platinum haired warrior wanted to play bait until the right time. However, Sonya was a better bait because whatever was coming for her, it was coming faster.

The both of them remained silent, leaving the only noise so far to the steps that the being was taking. Sonya gripped her blade even more with her left hand and went on the ball of her feet so her feet could be quicker just in case the being was more of a fan of speed than strength. Her eyes were moving left, right, left, right, left, right, in her attempt to get another glimpse before striking.

The platinum haired playboy on the other hand, being more experienced then Sonya, had already caught a glimpse of the creature.; speed was something that the platinum haired boy knew all about. It was similar to a werewolf, but it's fur was more wild, the fangs on it's teeth went near it's chin, claws rushing down towards the kneecap region and was obviously in shape due to it's muscle mass. The platinum haired warrior vanished at a speed his teammate would be unable to see and unleashed eight horizontal slices towards the beast's body before appearing back in the same position.

Sonya at last saw the wolf a second before it lunged towards her with it's fangs open wide looking for a snack and it's claws extended, in an attempt to make Sonya unable to move. Sonya planned to go for a diagonal slice towards the left neck artery of the wolf to its's right side. However before she even made contact, the wolf seperated into eight long pieces in mid-flight before flopping to the dirt.

Sonya was confused for a second before she turned around to see Calypso using the bloddy sword as a mirror to make sure his face was in tip top shape. Her eyes became narrow as she gave Calypso an angry face, obviously impling that she wanted to get a first whack at the wolf before she decided to ask for assistance.


Calypso noticed Sonya's glare towards him and replied with "What?!, shrugging his shoulders in confusion, even know the platinum playboy was aware of what he did.

"Nothing! Let's just keep moving." Sonya said before she looked away from Calypso, walking onward as she positioned her blade vertically, allowing the symboite to act as a a holder for her weapon and latch onto the blade.


Calypso let a grin loose behind sonya's back. relinquishing the blood off the blade by smearing it near a few plants near their area before he began catching up towards Sonya, eager to get some real action and a few "prizes".  

[Kirisute Gomen]

Out of nowhere a shadow appeared in front of them. "Well who do we have here, why are you here are you after him too?" he asked them.
"Hmm, i sense a little evil aura around you. he pointed to the man with white hair. At that moment one of the wolves was charging him from behind. "What bothersome pup these things are, i think its about time to change that." he said as he waved signs. He started to change into something evil, he grew bigger, stronger. His mouth came out and grew fangs, his hands turned into gaint claws and his mucsles got bigger. He turned around and roared at all the wolves it echoed through the forest and they all obeyed and left to there caves, With that done dark matter began to drift off of him and he returned back to normal.

"Well that was unexpected, i didnt know there were anymore of my kind here well looks like we just got a member boost, but anyway back to you, why are you here and do you work for defacio or the rebellion?"he said in a clam dark tone.

Viper looked at RIKU with a slight suspesion. She knew she was not the only one who could have heard that noise... but she sighed and dropped it. Fang gave a long hiss as Riku told him to remain vibrant. Not like he wasnt already. he lifted his head, hoisting Viper into the air, but below that first branch of the trees. As they kept moving he growled.
When Riku mentions something coming Viper was startled, and looked around. one of the beasts had lept upon Fangs back. He turned and hissed and went to strike at the intruder that dared touch him. But even he was too slow and only managed to be a mouth of fur. The creature howled and lunged at viper as she jumped off the moving snakes head. She gasped as it grasped her by the waist and tackled her, hard off the path they had been on and into a much dark forest.
It dug its claws into the corset on her waist, which was merely crushing her ribs, as even its mighty claws could not pierce the many layers of thick leather that hid underneath the beautiful fabric. She gritted her teeth and was busy trying to avoid its snapping mouth at was continiously trying to rip into her soft delicate flesh. It was obviously stronger then her, but she was still able to put up quite a resistance with a beast.
She some how removed Zefer from its sheath, then as it went to snap at her face, the blade found its place through the roof of its mouth and out the top of its head, killing the beast instantly. She panted as she struggled and barly pushed the beast off of her and stumbled to her feet. " what are these things?" She whispered weakly. Her legs and arms were shaking at the mere strength it took them to keep her from being made into a meal.
Thunder suddenly cracked over head... but she couldnt see it anyways. Not even the lightning bolt that was suppossed to strike Zefer could get completely through this dank forest. but the rumble over head and debree that fell told her that Zefer was awake and needed to be charged up to be properly be used. ' sorry Zefer, but right now theres no opening to let the energy strike you.' she though and sheathed her blade. the blood that had once found a place upon it fell to the ground as if it had fallen from the air. So it had cleaned itself, though it had been solid only moments before. She sheathed it and then looked around her... wondering where she might be.

Since the attack, the two warriors kept on the trail that was given to them for almost a minute now. While the platinum haired warrior had his hands behind his head with no fear from whatever was out there, Sonya on the other hand was on her guard. She looked left, right, and behind her in that order every five seconds with her left hand touching the Zeroshift hilt. She was suprised that Calypso was treating this as if it was some sort of everyday chore. Of course, one would more than likely do the same if they reached the level that Calypso was at.

Sonya then released her grip from Zeroshift and extended her hand in front of Calypso's midsection, impling that something is ahead and that they need to stop.

"Something's ahead." she said before removing her left arm from Calypso's direction and placed it back on her weapon.

"I'll let you have this one." Calypso replied in a nonchalant tone as he dropped his hands down and placed them in his pockets.

A figure appeared in front of both of them but Sonya was unable to see exactly who it was. It did mention however looking for someone which stirred up some interest in Sonya.

"After Who?" Sonya replied as she gripped her blade even harder, seconds away from being released by the symbiote and using it to defend herself.

The man did not answer her question however; instead he turned his attention to Calypso and told the warrior how he could sense a dark, ominous vibe all around his body.


"Evil aura?" Calypso said to himself as he jokingly sniffed both of his armpits before squinching his face up a bit as if he sunk his teeth into a grapefruit. "I guess i forgot to put some cologne on before our trip. Maybe that's why that girl did not fall for my charm. I'll put some on next time for you okay?"

Just then Sonya heard more of the werewolfs coming in closer to their position. The girl then made an assumption that somehow the man had formed a connection with the creatures in the forest; at least the wolves anyway. Her assumption was correct when the man made signs that looked like ninjitsu and started to transform. His muscle mass began to grow at a fast rate and was soon covered in fur, claws and feet that were bigger than the average hand of a human. In addition, his canine teeth began to grow to the length of an average fang.

Although Sonya did not know anything about this person, she did envy him for being able to transform into his beast form. That was something that Sonya was unable to grasp a hold of. She was so buzy looking at the structure of the man, that she didn't notice him imply that she was one of them. Even if she did, more than likely Sonya would not let him know anyway. She came back to reality when he asked if they were with the rebellion, of with Defacio. Neither Calypso or Sonya heard of this "Defacio", but manged to hear a bit about the rebellion.

"Our reasons here do not require an explanation, and we work for noone." Sonya replied.  

[Hakora vi Britannia]

As Viper stood another one of the werewolf like beasts charged her. I jumped into the air and hidden by the darkness and came down at her with a blood lust that would make a serial killer seem like a saint. Riku managed to get in the path of the beast. The beast tackled Riku, but with his reflects he fought him off and rolled to his feet. The beast turned to Riku, charging forward with a strike from his massive claws to Riku's midsection. He lept back and charged the beasts opening slicing off his hand and sending his blade plunging into its heart. "Powerful vermin, aren't they?" He turned to Viper and walked over to her and looked at the damage. "Are you ok, did you have trouble with the pup?" He asked very sarcastically and sort of put his hand on her shoulder pushing her back playfully as he said it. "I feel Calypso in the area too."

She smiled as he placed a hand on her shoulder. " I am fine, no scratch placed upon me by that puppy creature" She winked and leaned into him shyly then quickly walked off to leave him to his thoughts. She made it back to Fang who seemed to be just finishing up another of the beasts, she heard him gulp then his eyes brightened. He moved over to her and nuzzled her with his closed mouth she smiled again and hugged him. Glad he was safe. She turned to Riku. " you arent hurt, are you?" She questioned, worried if e might be what would happen

He foated in the water like a log until his body began to sink and drifted into a hole underground he floate duntil he made it to a cave.His body began to move out of the water with a limp and his swor ddragge don the hard rocky floor two of his ribs seemed to be broken and that same doul look was in his eyes he walked through the cave of darkness.A rock fell from the ceiling and a scurry noise could be heard.But Cry didnt care he just kept walking.

"I'm clean, no damage."He walked over to her and smiled "Know this, if you get hurt I will kill who or whatever hurt you and then beat you up."He was kidding about the second part and kissed her lightly on the cheek. He sheathed his blade and took a deep breath. "Ready?"

she blushed and nodded. willing to follow him where they would be heading. Fang yawned and gave a soft rumble. then slithered off. She watched him and rubbed her side as she was sure it was bruised.

Riku headed for where he felt Calypso at. In the distance they could hear the sounds of beasts that made the werewolf beasts seem like cake walk. He found Calypso and a girl, and the someone else with the presence of evil around him. Riku asked Fang to go underground and both Riku and Neveah let their light go away. Riku was protected without it but he placed some light on Viper making her skin glow to protect her from the darkness around them. Riku got closer so they could listen in, but stay hidden.
