Ok, here the deal, we need to come up with ideas for animes Cartoon Network could get the rights to, and show during a daily week run of Toonami or another programing Block
I figure making this a community thing would both improve the posting in the guild, as well as give us some new insight on what is hot and what is not in terms of TV worthy anime.
Now as always I favor classic favorites like DBZ, tenchi and Sailor moon
In terms of newer anime, I think something like Kodocha would be nice to see

One Word; Ruruni Kenshin.
I cannot believe they took of that show, and worst, replaced it with Bakugan!
Even though ti is an old Anime, it was surely a great one, and definitely TV worthy. I am so glad I'm not a child in the 21st Century, because I got all of my old memories from the good old Anime shows they used to have. Now, they've killed everything, from Gundam to Dragon Ball Z.

I've been watching the new Birdy Anime, and it's really good! You should watch the earlier episodes on Funimation, to give money to them...and if you're still interested THEN you can watch the episodes they don't have all illegal like on YouTube ninja

Now as always I favor classic favorites like DBZ, tenchi and Sailor moon In terms of newer anime, I think something like Kodocha would be nice to see (post #41) I loved Kodocha, but Funimation isn't releasing the 2nd series...that's what they said awhile back anyways. I think the new Fullmetal Alchemist is supposed to be pretty good, the first one did well enough so it would be a good choice. If they did the old-school Toonami, with the 15 minute cartoon shorts in addition to the full-length shows I think "Oh! Super Milk-chan" could work. I think Haruhi would be a good Adult swim choice, not because it needs to be on late...but it would appeal to anime fans while still being enough of an odd show to keep the attention of the pothead crowd that block now seems geared towards -_- Also, there is a new season of the popular Slayers anime coming out soon, and Funimation got the original cast back for voices...maybe they could start showing the old episodes and work towards the new stuff since they have several seasons plus movies to air. #64

Actually the new seasons of Slayers isn't very good, but they could always show the older stuff.
I think some new Gundam show would be good, those always get good ratings. 3nodding
For late night they could have some fanservice Anime which would probably attract a good chunk of viewers from the pervyness

Really? that's a shame, I love the old series.
I love some of the older series, haven't been able to get into the newer stuff. Maybe they could get another mech series, like "Linebarrels of Iron"
Maybe Queens Blade?

i dont liek how gundam went after gundam seed destiny and the gundam seed series themselves annoyed me somewhat, i want to see queens blade but focusing on finishing part one of Naruto then part 2 comes out later this year so pirate

Tenchi Misaki1 i dont liek how gundam went after gundam seed destiny and the gundam seed series themselves annoyed me somewhat, i want to see queens blade but focusing on finishing part one of Naruto then part 2 comes out later this year so pirate Naruto 2 is already out...its on disney....Hulu has it dubbed. I think Slayers would do awesome on CN. for a while it was on the Funimation Channel programming block of the Colors TV network. (post #62)

Maybe they could show some classics, like Galaxy Express 999, or some other Leji Matsumoto works?
I would love to see them dig up some of the forgotten Gundam series: Turn A Gundam or After War Gundam X would be fun to watch...so long as I never have to see that chibi one EVER AGAIN! #76

Yeah, I remember all of the good old Gundam from when I was a child, but the memories a little foggy. I would love to see that show back on, it might trigger way to many memories for me. xDDD
I woke up randomly one day and turned on the TV, some old Gundam show was on. My jaw probably fell to the floor. Such a good ol' Anime that was!

Well they're a bunch of idiots. Hopefully one of the other cartoon channels will start picking up some Anime. That would be REALLY cool ^_^
