Wind Chasers Among the many clearings in the swamps, there is a rather large one that sticks out. It has size enough to fit many tens of kimeti, but those who visit only use a small portion in the middle. There is a natural stone there, 3 kimeti tall and thrice as many round. It has been marked and scratched by horn and hoof, and you aren't sure if they are all by kimeti.
Right now, a strong brown buck stands on the top of the rock, surveying the few kimeti. You knew they would be here soon, but they won't stay for long.
They are called the Wind Chasers, and for some reason, you feel the same pull of the wind they do.
The buck beckons you, and you join the circle of other kimeti around him. They look at you with adventure in their eyes and you know you've found a family, and a home.
"Welcome," they say in unison. And for the first time, you truly feel they meant it.
