I voted 4 Greiss mainly cause he's the only one I know and he's on my favorite team: Sharks. biggrin

I think he's a solid backup, his Olympics were horrid but he's done well for the Sharks in the season so far.

I think backups are extremely important and every team who wants 2 succeed come late April and on need a good one.

I would say Jimmy Howard... except now he's the primary, #1 goalie for DET. biggrin i love ozzie, but... *whistles* not a good season for him.

I have noticed that Rask and Howard have kinda become the main goalies for their teams and I wonder why. I mean, I thought Thomas and Osgood were really good goalies...what happened?

Idk, but neither have been playing as great lately. Thomas and Rask split time, while Osgood is never seen anymore.

I don't think theres much of a question here. Rask has been unbelievable. To take the top spot from the Vezina trophy winner is a task in and around itself difficult..but then to statistically be one the best goalies in the league, if not the best, thats just sexy cool
