Anyone else ever heard of them? They do tributes to modern music, with a classical twist. I absolutely LOVE them. Before I had heard them, I never even thought about doing something like that. There are some songs that you think would be absolutely impossible to play with a string quartet, but they DID IT!
Example: Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce
Is that not amazing?! They can actually play it, while Dragonforce has to use digital stuff since it's just so fast.
If you look, they've practically done tributes to everything!
Tell me what you guys think!

I really like what their doing with this. It takes familiar music to those who may be distant from classical music and shows them that the two may not be so different afterall. I think its good for people.
I think some songs turned out much better than others, but for the most part I really like what their doing.

That Dragonforce song was just amazingly done by Vitamin String Quartet. I do believe I am now a fan. Thank you for mentioning this group! I love them! I first found them when I heard this amazing cover of Poker Face and became increasingly interested in Orchestra's covering more known songs.
I love the Fireflies cover that they did manly for the cello part :3
And Bohemian Rhapsody is another of my favorites!

Oh my God.... The Fireflies one was amazing! I loved the cello solo!!! (Especially since I play it) ^_^
