History: Kaitou is an average Human who was very popular in school. He was very intellegent and never took on a situation w/o finding ways to get himself out. His hobbies were building puppets as his grandfather did before he passed away.There was an accident where he was forced to protect a girl from his class who he fell in love with, that was one situation that he could not avoid. Unfortunatly he lost the girl. After that great loss Kaitou suffered a new chapter in his life began. He found out from his grandmother that he is an water/ice-elemental. The blood of the elemental ran through his veins. From that moment on, Kai began training with his grandmother. She was his master, and taught him everything she knew about being an elemental and basic and advanced sword fighting. Years later, Kai enrolled in a school for Shinigamis, because he felt this is a good way for him to protect both the living and the spirit world. After finally becoming a death god, Kaitou began training on his own so he would never be forced to lose someone he loves again. He achieved his Bankai at a very early stage, and because of his unique abilities, he became a Captain.
