Halo: Reach is Bungies way of pissing on the Franchise's Community before they have to give the Series away to another Company, which will make it a utter fail:
1) The new weapons are just 2 old ones slapped together with duck tape, nothing new about a Plasma Grenade Launcher, I've seen it before in other games.
2) I will rather get Gears of War 3 instead of Reach, for the matter that it actual ends the Gears series, and they've went maybe 3 games now without saying what has happened to Master Chief, safe to say he's died by now by something hitting the remains of the ship he Cryo-Freezed in space.
3) I love the Halo series, but it went downhill after they tried making Halo into a RTS Game, sorry but the gods of RTS pwned Halo Wars into tiny pieces and let Dawn of War2 eat it up.
These are just my opinions on it, some like it, and some dont
