I appoint *you* Secretary of Cheese, and So yeah, we were watching Austin Powers in class today (no idea why, I think he was trying to compare it to James Bond) and my english teacher told us that he grew up down the street from him Mike Meyers. They didn't really hang out much, but they did sometimes and there's one movie Mike did called "I Think I Married an Axe Murderer". The dad in it I think is a scottish guy and Mike said in an interview that he based the guy on someone who lived down the street from him when he was a kid. My teacher's dad was the only real scopttish guy on that street and the character is pretty much identical to him I was told.
It gets better.
Fat b*****d from Austin Powers is a spoof of that scottish guy.
So in the end, Fat b*****d looks like he was based on my teachers dad.
My teacher finds this hilarious,
His dad says that if he still knew him, Mike would get his butt kicked.
Isn't that weird??
I dunno if he actually based the character on him on purpose or anything, but I thought it was kinda cool and that I should share it.
