Your tools of the trade

Presumably we're all creative people in here. So what are your favourite tools of expression?

I use photo editting software mainly, my favourite being Corel GFX suite. But I occasionally use a pencil. For instance I drew the design of the orb and ribbon in my signature, then traced it.

For my personal artwork - I use cameras, paint, pen, pencil, and some sculpture in various media.

For my professional work, I use pencil, pen, paint, cameras, and add in a digital component with Adobe Creative Suite CS (no upgrade yet), and a few odds and ends (fontographer, painter, etc.).

depends on what I'm doing tho. It's all just a big toolbox. Pick the right tool for the job.

Graphite and paper, occasionally inked (I love my technical pens)

and of course, GIMP 2.0. The slightly esoteric, and more wallet friendly form of photoshop. I don't mix my digital and traditional art, although I have been tempted. I'm going to wait until I have a halfway decent scanner xd

hehe. Photoshop CS2 runs too slow for me to use it. >_> I like 7.0 much more because i'm more familiar with it. I'll open CS2 and play with it one day. One day...

Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS, Flash MX, DreamWeaver MX, Freehand MX, Apophysis for graphics.

Pencil and occasional pencil for traditional.

For my graphics I use Gimp, Basic Paint, and Window's Media Player (I make Anime Music Videos/Edited Family videos/Animated Videos, yada)...

For my hand drawn stuff I prefere Oil Pastel, charcole pencil, Gel Pens, mosaic tiling, flower arangments, yada yada, the list is almost endless, lol...

Essentially I love all, and can do many, forms of art sweatdrop heart blaugh lol

I use pencil, acrylic, watercolour, pencil crayon, crayon, and ink for non digital work and graphire 3, Adobe for colouring, and Paintshop for editing.

I usually use pencil the most or I draw digitally.

Cheap mechanical pencil/paper. Macromedia Fireworks. It's the same as photoshop, really...except it's easier to organize layers (for me anyways). 3nodding

Oh yeah, and Flash. Flash is fun. biggrin

i use gimp(graphic program) and for my pics i usualy go to gamerenders or something like that and they share pretty much everything they make and more then i might go into gif animator and add a few cool effects
