I was under the impression that that
title goes to Independence Day. But
I think if you give anyone a reason to

To be fair, I see your point about that though, it is an American tradition which I had overlooked.

I also agree with you on that point, though I dislike the American's (not saying that anyone in this thread so far is, mind you) who assume St Patricks day is an American thing, despite all the Irish themes around it. Yes, there are people like that, I've spoken to one or two...

st patricks day doesnt have much to do with america, or having a reason to drink. Its just a time when they can feel a part of the irish spirit. . .or something along those lines anyway. I like irish culture, its bright, and friendly, kinda like bein a southerner. I think its cool that americans, or anyone else for that matter, can celebrate this day in their own way.

because like they say, when its st patricks day, everybody is Irish. =3
