I think technically, it would be ninja, not ninjas (ie: one ninja, two ninja), but I have to say ninja are better.

Oh so very true. Don't worry about it, Japan is pretty crazy in terms of language, especially when it's translated properly. It's like fish and sheep. Why must they be the same for both singular and plural?!
