Attached to him by chains. He gains the ability to manipulate shadows and darkness
Abilities:
He is able to become one with shadows and turn, essentially Invisible due to his Zanpakuto. (He can be invisible for 2 posts requires one post to enter and has a cool down of one page)
Extra Skills:
He is able to temporarily 'clone' his zanpakuto though the second one is half as powerful when he puts most of his spirit energy into doing so though normally he goes for 10 percent when needed.
Personality:
He revels in Chaos, it is to him what a good challenge was To Zaraki-Taichou. He is kind to those who he calls friends and comes off as rather arrogant until you get to know him.

Biography
He doesnt talk much of his past, He deems it boring and dislikes wallowing in what has been, But on occasion he breaks and tells a story or two. When Aizen rebelled he was still in the acadamy and at the time Aizen fell he had finally graduated, after losing many friends in the strife caused by the traitor. The Day he released his shikai for the first time was when Ichigo and the Rescue party infiltrated. After having been rendered unconscious by Chad Lindwurm came to him and spoke to him "Ive been here all along at your side will you not ask for my help, Will you lay there in a pool of your own blood and squander your potential? I am Koutla grau lindwurm, I am your Zanpakuto!" when he awoke being treated by a member of the fourth squad he whispered "Return from the shadows, Koutla grau lindwurm" Seeing his Shikai release he passed out again.
