Omashu

The city of Omashu sits within the Kolau Mountain Range, surrounded on all sides by steep canyons and an enormous gorge. The cities' three gates are composed from massive stone, each five feet thick and towering over thirty feet high. As a result, the gates can only be opened by skilled Earthbenders who guard its only entrance. The city itself is built on a number of hills. The Palace sits on the tallest hill, which is in the center behind some of the other hills. The city has thousands of houses for ordinary citizens and nobles. There are hundreds of shops, restaurants and pottery workshops. Most types of businesses in Ba Sing Se would be present in Omashu as well. It also has a complex mail system.

Buildings in Omashu are generally built from stone, unlike most buildings in the Earth Kingdom, and have green tiled roofs.

Riktor layed on the roof of his home. He took a deep breath just before fell unconscious into a nap.

Lucifer and shade we running on rooftops and hopping from rooftop to rooftop. Luc and shade landed on the roof Riktor was on and leaped ahead.

Riktor woke up to people running on his roof. He looked around until he saw Lucifer and Shade. He decided to follow because he had nothing better to do.

"Shade wait up!" Luc yelled out. The panther landed on the ground and looked to luc. The panther stomped its paw and an earth wall rose blocking Luc. Luc landed infront of the wall. Luc stomped his foot and the wall crumbled. Luc chased shade once again.

Riktor continued to follow a little confused as to why a panther knew how to earth bend...but he didn't think about it much.

Shade stopped in the towns square. Luc caught up. "Lucifer..your slowing down! concentrate!" yelled the panther. "Yes master" Luc bowed. Shade looked over Luc's shoulder. "We have a follower" Shade whispered.

Riktor was obviously dreaming because the panther was talking and the person called it 'master'.

Luc turned and saw the person. "Hello...can i help you?" Luc back towards Shade and patted the panthers head gently. The panthe purred like a normal house pet.

"No I'm fine...I'll wake up soon. I say that because I could've sworn I heard your panther talk."

Shade walks forward and sits next to Luc. "I assure you..this is no dream" Shade spoke intelligently. Luc placed his hand on his hip and stayed quiet.

"If this isn't a dream then explain to me how you can talk and why he..." he pointed at Luc "called you 'master'."

Shade sighed. "Its simple..im sure your familiar with the badger moles and how they can earth bend..well so can I. Also im Lucifer's bending master...he wasn't able to learn from his village cause a fire nation platoon destroyed it" Shade said as his tail wagged and lucifer sat on the fountain ledge.

"Okay, I can understand that. But what about the whole talking panther deal. That kind of thing doesn't happen all the time ya know."

"Yes i know it is rare to see a talking animal that can bend an element..and pardon me! My name is Shade and thats Lucifer but address him as Luc" explained Shade. Luc bowed his head respectfully.
