Futuristic Sci-Fi RP, Anyone?

Been thinking about this a lot, and I'm wondering; If I were to make a Sci-fi furry RP, would you be interested? It would be set approximently two hundred to two hundred fifty years from now, and it would invovle either a planet under attack, a ship being shot down over a planet, or a planet being colonized, have not decided which, but open to ideas.

I've been thinking of doing something like that myself, except based off of the little drama thing going on in my head...when you have ten different personalities running around up there some strange and exciting things can happen lol.

Maybe a future where every furry has powers? The furry team could be in a space station that's new and top of the line and an alien race has arrived and is hostile and the team must use their powers and technology to save the planet.

I like the space station idea.....have to add it to my list of things to consider... the powers thing is a good one also... I was thinking of them to just to have like tech powers, but magic would be acceptable too, I think....

Don't think I've ever done a sci-fi RP, but it sounds super fun! I'm already picturing neon armor suits and epic plasma weaponry.

A Halo mod, then? ha....possible though. not perfect copy, but with elements of Halo....hmmmnn....food for thought. oh, and sorry for not coming up with something over the weekend, its jsut I was busy with life....try to come up with something by the end of the week, I promise!

Okay, got the Setting down...now just need the theme/plot/ crisis/ whatever...

Overall setting:
Year: 2153
Location: Space Station Ticonderoga, Orbiting the planet Ka'shi, in the Alpha Centuari system. Possibility of using Ka'shi for RP area, possibly not. keeping options open here.

Space Station Ticonderoga specs:
Height: 3.5 Miles
Diameter ( at widest point) 5.5 miles
Mass: Approx 3 million Metric tons
Total Population: Approx 2.5 Million
Layout: mostly looks like one of the starbases from Startrek, but has four long fins, manufacturing and engineering sections, as well as its engines and docking areas, extending from the bottom of the habitation lobe. Station capable of independent movement, although it is, understandably, slow.

I'm leaving the interior layout up to you guys if you want, but there will be at least several massive ship refurbishing and overhaul areas, a few huge interior parks and residential areas, and factory districts. If you've ever played Mass Effect, either of them, think of the Citadel... that's kinda the station I'm working towards.

As to characters and abilities allowed, I'm thinking of letting anything fly; magic is most definitely allowed, as I'm thinking of tossing in Shadowrun elements to the story. characters allowed? whatever you wish. I'll come up with the plot soon......

Yes i would anyone of those sounds good. I have taken part of a sci fi rp before but, It never had a plot like the ones you said and because people stop posting it died.
