Description:
This weapon is a family weapon for Kazan. It is a claymore, about seven tall including the crossguard and hilt.The hilt is just shy of a foot long, and is actually a conjoined piece of metal with the crossguard and the blade itself, though wrapped in heavy leather cords to provide a grip. The crossguard makes up the difference of the last foot, and is simplistic and functional rather than ornate. IT is three inches thick, and has serrated spikes protruding from each of the four branches.
The sword blade itself is a work of smithy art. It is just over six feet long, two feet across at the base, and the tip is just under half a foot up to the point. The metal is a steel composite, incredibly strong, with a chakra conducing mineral worked in to aid the wielder. The weapon is double sided, but one side is serrated at random intervals. The opposite side is the one that normally faces outward, and is what one would expect from a sword - smooth, keen, and deadly. The tip narrows rapidly from half a foot to a deadly point, and is the only spot where the serrated and smooth sides reverse themselves, leaving a jagged edge at the end of the smooth side, and vice versa.
This weapon is half of a set of weapons, and is complimented by a pair of daggers with their own properties. The Kuromaru can channel elements due to the chakra metal in its make up, but only one element along each side, lightning for the smooth side and fire for the jagged side.
Activating the ability of the Kuromaru (channeling elements) is equivalent to a C-rank jutsu. To keep it maintained after initial activation is D-rank for every post.
