Rainfall
The smell of wet pavement lingers
As Mother Nature lets her hair fall
A sweet smelling rain.

Spring Time
The scent of golden lemons,
The ladybugs frolicking gracefully;
It's all happening as the grass tickles my palm
And greets me to spring.
-------------------------------
Boom, Boom
Boom boom, I protected you.
Sniff sniff, I cried for you.
Crack crack, you broke my heart.
Bump bump, I still love you.
Boom boom, you stepped all over me.
Bump bump, I still love you.
Boom boom, I died for you.
Sniff sniff, now you're crying.
Crack crack, now you're hurting.
Boom boom, you still love me.

Strawberry Fields
Braided lemon grass overshadowing my worries,
Farm animals in a daze.
The scent of pine and strawberries
Tingle my stressed emotions
As I lye on the blanket of despair.
Crushed dreams fade away ---
I have entered the strawberry fields.

Graceful Ballerina
Salmon colored slippers tap anxiously
Along the chestnut floor.
Her innocence wrapped up into a bun, not a hair out of place.
She puts on a smile for the show,
Because that's all she knows.
She is the graceful ballerina,
And that's all she depends on.

The Perfect Ken Doll
You're eyes are drenched in lies.
Your plastic heart can't be broken,
For you are the perfect Ken doll
In my collection of 2nd Grade toys.
You think you're so cool,
But guess what?
I threw away my toys a long time ago.

Life Is A Game
What am I to you?
I'm your personal rug you can step all over.
I'm your carnival act, I'm here to entertain.
In your mind, you're God.
You're the king and the rest of us are
Pawns on this little chess board.
But what happens when we call checkmate?
You aren't king anymore.
Sorry to kill your pride hun, but you never were.
Life is a game and your moves aren't slick enough.
In my book, you're no way in HELL better then the rest of the board.
So go ahead, control your kingdom.
But keep in mind, I was never in it to begin with.
I know, they may be short and sometimes incomplete.
So advice and pointers is loved also! <3
