Put the one with the lowest level first. In a battle switch to your strongest. They will both get Experience points.

not so sure about lucky egg(since i've never obtained it before)
but i do know: this is in honesty old information that is actually given to you in each game by an NPC near the very beggining who usually also mentions something about having multiple strong pokemon
so if people would read what the NPCs say, then boom easy game victory

I also just use exp share as well. If and when I get another DS system. (Hopefully by June. Hopefully). I could start trading like crazy when it comes to Pokemon Silver, Plt (yup plan to get Plt) as well the older ones like fire red and such.

Almost all of the above is true:
* Put the weaker pokemon first and then switch it out with a stronger pokemon and they will split the experience points evenly.
* Equip the weaker pokemon with Exp. Share and it will get half the total experience points, while the other half is split between the other participating pokmeon. If the weaker pokemon participates in the battle, it will get slightly more experience than the other participating pokemon.
* Equip the weaker pokemon with the Lucky Egg and the weaker pokemon will get slightly more experience, but only if they appear in battle.
* Traded pokemon get slightly boosted experience for participating in a battle.

Quote: I thought that was only in old games. @_@ I think that particular trick is mentioned in all of them at some point. But it is easy to overlook what the NPCs say sometimes. On more than one occasion, I've actually had to go back and re-read what the NPC said because it didn't sink in the first time. Of course, that's usually because I'm watching TV or I'm really tired or I have some other distraction going on. :p

IIRC: in Y/R/B/FR/LG he was near/in viridian his text mentions somehting along the lines of
"you should raise more than one strong pokemon sure one is great, but each pokemon has a weakness"................."let the weaker ones battle and switch them out they'll grow too"
i'm not sure where he was in other games but i know in each one i always talk to the NPCs around the first three towns, even trainers that i beat on routes, which of course stopped the moment i got my first badge
a few trends each game follows: City1/Outside City1-gain starter City2-learn more about your world, go back to City1(IN G/S/C/HG/SS it's outside City2) City1 - deliver/answer questions then head for city3* (in R/B/Y you could head off immediately, in games afterward you had to revisit "mom") City3 gym badge 1 then proceed from there monotonously to the E4 ad after-E4 stuff
