The OuterEdge(Forest)

[Kikuka]

The outer edge is a dense forest, inhabited with monsters and beasts. The trees run think and dense, most are dead or dieing giving a creepy dark outline to them.

Small streams run through everywhere, the eiery trickling sound being the only one people hear as they wander through the dark, abandoned forest.

Crows calls seem to mock you as you wander the beaten, dark path.

Jumping at the sudden sound of crows cawing out Calypso admonished herself mentall, "It was just crows. You're being silly Caly. Just continue as you planned..." She tried to relax her shoulders, fiding them tense, but knew that even if she tried she wouldn't be able to. She had chosen this forest for a reason, and she would live or die by her choice.
Adjusting the travel pack on her pack, she reached up to finger an earring for a few moments all the while continously gazing about her surroundings as she cautiosuly walked. She didn't want to be caught off guard in any way by any thing if she could help it.

Lee herd the crows and started to wonder to himself "Why did I have to go on a fricken camping trip" He continued to walk along the path with his pack on his back and his sword in his hand, he was prepared for anything.

She thought she heard something else traveling through the forest, but had to shake her head at that thought. There were so many crows they made a great deal of noise, so it couldn't be anything else. But still she toyed with her earrings again, this time one hand going down to the matching necklace hanging just between her breasts.

"These birds are annoying me!" Lee shouted. "Bardome" He said and the birds started to burn in mid-air.

She jumped nearly a foot into the air at the sudden shouting and then had to cling to a tree for support while she recollected her bearings. Gulping several times she looked around, swiping back strands of her long light brown hair out of her face and tucked it behind a pointed ear. The voice had been louder to her ears for her inherited the hearing of an elf from her father, and it had made her ears hurt just a tiny bit.

But then she felt, rather than see the flames. That brought her standing straight without another moment of hesitation and her gaze snapped towards where it was coming from. She hurried to it, already calling on her own magic with water and doused the flames within seconds. "This is a forest!! You do not use fire in a forest as vast as this!!" she exclaimed.

Lee took off into the air and killed every crow in sight. He flew around slashing at every bird. He didn't use the fire spells but he did use some darkness balls to hit far off ones. He had killed every bird within half an hour. His eyes were blood red. He landed on the ground and continued along the path.  

[Kikuka]

"Don't kill the crows." Came a cold and deadly quiet voice. Red eyes peered out of the darkness and shelter of the trees. Out stepped a tall and slender girl. Black hair was long and fell to her waist and it was messy and uncared for. Her clothes were dirty and tattered. At her sigh a massive shadow grew and formed to the shape of a panther, massive grey wings on his back.

Rika was the forest protecter. "Don't hurt the forest." Her voice was louder but just as deadly. In her hand was a red and gold staff. The top held charms that gleamed, its points sharp.

Lee mumbled to himself. "Their just birds." He said to the tall figure. "Besides, they're all gone now."  

[Kikuka]

"They're not just birds." Rika hissed, the large panther at her side growled. The panther's eyes were an eeiry yellow, glowing in the night.

A red light emitted from Rika, the glow outlining her body against the dark of the trees. The dead crows that scattered the ground and trees took again to the air, calling out their mocking crys as if they'd never been dead.

As they flew away their calls dimmed, leaving the caws to only echo through the trees faintly. "Don't hurt them again." With her last warning the Forest Protecter dissolved ack into the trees. En, the panther snarled a last time at the man before following his mistress.

"No one tells me what to do." Lee said his oversoul kicking in. His skinned turned red. With a wave of his hand he could kill the entire forest and everything in it except him. He calmed and walked along the trail agian but kept his over soul kicked in.  

[Kikuka]

[Technially, that would be godmodding.]

There was a hiss from the great panther, yellow eyes glinting as En stared after the arogant boy.

"En, leave him be. He'll feel the wrath of the forest soon enough." Came Rika's cold voice as she appeared beside her panther. Placing a pale hand on the panthers hand the two disolved into nothingness.

She had fallen back into the line of trees when the male had taken to the air and then tried to make herself even more invisible when someone new came into sight. As she watched the two, the young woman with a panther by her side she leaned against the nearest tree to her, silently considering what to do, if she should say something, but then the two disappeared, leaving her alone in the forest once again.

With just another sigh she striaghtened bacy to her feet and began traveling again, no destination set. She didn't even no what seh would truly do now that she was inside the forest, but sometimes plans didn't get followed anyway.
