...
you did didn't you?
I'm being silly and just seeing if anyone will actually enter this thread. I was on a board thing a few days ago and realized that boards titled, "Do not enter" or something like that i tended to pause, mull it over and then decide not to enter.
Is it some psychological thing? Probably. Some people would come here just spite the title, other's might be curious, and some other reasons maybe, and possibly a few won't even enter at all... but then i wouldn't know.
How is this philosophical/debate/discussion? Well... do you think this is all really psychological or something else?

I entered simply because the title said not to, but I don't think it's psychological. I think it depends on personality. I could be wrong though, I never really thought about it.

Damn, I'm glad this wasn't what I thought it was. I once clicked on the thread titled like this in the GD, and saw a real decapitation. I was never completely able to forget that...

well, i'm naturally an informant. it was my main task back in highschool when i was banging, and even after i quit i was still (and to this day) keeping my eyes and ears open to goings-on. i like to know. i don't realy respect privacy that often.
i think this qualifies as philosophy/debate if it actually gets philosophized or debated. and i tend to do both, so it's quite likely to occur.
i would say it can definately be a psychological thing, but that is mainly because anything to do with behavior is by it's very definition under the field of pathology, which as far as i understand is a branch of psychology. i could be mistaken though, as i am no psychologist, nor a pathologist.

I'm somewhat prone to reverse psychology, but only on the internet.... mrgreen
Anyone who chooses "I didn't" is either a liar or a joker. Those aren't mutually exclusive.
