Have you read The Dark Tower Series?
  Yes! Every single book!
  Nope. Don't Plan on it.
I'm in the process of reading all of it.
I'm now thinking I just might have to read it.
Started it but never got around to finish it.

I decided to post this here because, well, there's no book subforum.
Anyway.

The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King. I would say this is probably the most epic series out there. (That I have read).
I'm on the last and final book of the series. It's really sad that it's coming to an end for me.
I also can't wait until they put the books into movies. Of course it won't be as good but I still want to see how the director would portray the series.
So I was wondering if any of you have read this series or anything by Stephen King. He's a true wordslinger, a genius.

I'm familiar with the series and his style enough to know, whoever portrays his stories in a movie better get those details down because that man doesn't miss a thing.

There's about 5 or six different covers in circulation for the books at the moment.
Here's the one I have for the first book. I had an older printing of it at one point but it was "borrowed" when I was living in dorms away at college and I never got it back...so naturally had to go out and get a new one.

Love when King starts working in stuff from his other books, like Randall Flagg, and other stuff from The Stand.
If I had to pick which book I liked the best, it's a toss up between The Gunslinger, The Waste Lands and Wizard & Glass.

I never heard of this series at all, heck in fact when I saw the topic I thought it was about the book called The Dark Tower... which is about Marie Therese Charlotte de France from her early childhood to the French Revolution.

I liked the first book. I suffered through the second. And I quit on the third. I have no desire to read any more of them.
However I love The Eyes Of The Dragon by Stephen King. That's one of my most favorite books and has been for almost 20 years. If you need a new King to read, check that one out!
