Meta_Fish Yes. You can get a letter from Satoru Iwata in the mail on Animal Crossing Wild World. Just change the date on your Nintendo DS to January 12th, 2006. Then go to Copper, and tell him you want to go out on Nintendo WFC. After you've connected, close the list of your friend's towns and run to your house. Your mailbox should be blinking, and when you open it, you'll have a letter from Iwata reading... "Dear [your name here], I hope you are enjoying your Nintendo DS. Please accept this New Year's gift with my gratitude. From S. Iwata" When you open your present, you'll have an old-school Mario Coin for your house! You cannot order more, and it only sells for 256 bells.
too bad they didn't do more Nintendo themed items for AC:WW like they did in the original AC. I loved having the bullet bill cannon that actually fired bullet bills... heh.
