Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, The Kingdom of God. The utopia that everyone wished they would go to when they died. Well, everyone except those already damned from the start, that is. "Why the hell is it always so friggin' bright up here," muttered one such being, an intruder in this holy realm. With each quiet step the demon took, he was that much closer to reaching his goal. Sneaking around heaven wasn't especially hard; even angels and spirits needed homes to live in. All things considered, Asmodeus thought it looked like a cleaner version of human dwellings; save for the dream-like clouds that formed the ground and whipped up with each step.
He had managed to open a portal to Heaven directly from Hell, bypassing the need to enter this 'holier then thou' community without having to go through its immaculate front gate. It was a risky gambit, but the stakes were high, anyways. The Archfiend, Debrak, had been captured; and was scheduled for execution. Asmodeus would not tolerate such a blasphemous act. Debrak was an essential component to many of Hell's operations, both on Earth, and against Heaven. The plan was simple. Send a group of powerful demons to infiltrate Heaven, and bring Debrak back, one way or another. Asmodeus' plan was to take a hostage, but so far he had yet to find anyone that looked that important.
Each demon was on his own, for this mission. Traveling together would make things unnecessarily difficult. Knowing that the alarm could be sprung if any of his compatriots were found, Asmodeus silently continued to move with haste. If he didn't hurry soon, he was going to lose his last meal from getting sick over watching all the angels make happy with each other. "Who in their right mind would want to live here..?"
Till we close our eyes for good...

Elizabeth was walking around. Her father wouldn't like it, but she couldn't be shut up protected all the time. Her solution was to sneak out. She would be in trouble if he found out, but he was always busy and she thought she could get over it. It's not like anybody really cared expect for anything right now but the capture of the Archfiend, Debrak. Eli herself didn't care for the whole fighting thing.
Eli wore a backless white silk dress, and a bright blue satin sash. Her hair was tied to the side, her ponytail falling over her shoulder in the front. She had a plain white headband on, and a bracelet with diamonds. She usually changed before she came out into town, but the hired help had found her casual clothes and took them away to burn. She knew she was probably drawing stares, as she moved a more residential area. Her goal was to go to the market and get some fresh fruits from Earth. They grew them here, but she thought the ones from Earth tasted more natural and better.
Eli knew a lot of the stares were for her fancy attire or her hair color. It stood out a lot. It was natural too, if you could believe it. She felt a bit uneasy for some reason. A dark aura seemed to hang over this place. She looked around, but the others seemed to notice nothing. She was used to being paranoid but this seemed different. She quickly picked up her pace, turning around, heading back towards her home.

Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, 'What an exquisite bracelet.. It would make a nice bargaining chip..' thought Asmodeus. Watching the red head, -- or was it pink? He couldn't place his finger on the exact shade of the girl's hair, and it was beginning to annoy him. 'Only angels would think of such an absurd-" The demon paused though, when another male's voice intruded into his mind. 'I wasn't talking about the bracelet, Asmo! That girl has to be from one of the higher ranking families, with her attire as is.' Immediately, Asmodeus covered his left eye with a hand, growling in indignation.
"Damn it Ashur, didn't I tell you to stop calling me that?!" the demon shouted out loud. Flinching in realization of what he had just done, he felt his blood run cold. Without wasting any time, he held out a hand, summoning his sword in a roar of flames. Taking the hilt of the weapon in one hand, he rushed out of the alleyway with a glare. Already, several lesser angels had been alerted to his presence, but they seemed far more interested in staying safe then engaging him. "Ah crap..! What a snafu this turned out to be..!" Sprinting in a straight line towards the wealthy young female, his crimson eye started to glow.
He didn't bother suppressing his aura anymore, and quickly the surrounding area became permeated with his evil presence. Flames flickered up wherever he stepped now, making him stand out even further. As the distance closed, he lunged forward, reaching out to the girl with his free hand.
Till we close our eyes for good...

Eli turned around as she sensed a demon's aura. So that was what was tugging at her mind just minutes earlier. She turned to see the intruder reaching towards her. She dunk, and reached back to pull her dagger. She suddenly remember she had left it in her casual clothing, who knows where it was now. She quickly looked over the guy. Yup, he was defiantly a demon. "Now, what would a demon be doing here, in this peaceful sanctuary?" She asked. She looked off the the side, and darted off into a empty street. She didn't mind dealing with a demon, but the lesser angels need not to be hurt. If he indeed was after her, she had no doubt he would follow her.
Eli hurried off, trying to find her bearings. There were more businesses then houses here, but most of them had been abandoned. She ran into one of the ones she had known was defiantly no one was there. She didn't look back to see if the demon had followed. Quickly, she ran into the upper levels. She had use to play here as a kid, such great memories but there was no time to think of that. Quickly she went to the stairs leading to the roof. She liked the outside; she got claustrophobic when she didn't have a way to escape.
Eli tried to conceal her aura as best as she could, but she had never been good at that. Spreading her wings out, as wide as they go, she looked around so see if she could find a weapon. She quickly did this, knowing she may not have time. She wasn't really great at magic, and she wasn't very good with combat fighting either. She was the only daughter of a wealthy family, she was never required to learn. The only weapon she used well was a dagger, and there was none to be find. She couldn't even see anything to use to remotely defend herself. Angels kept things to tidy and clean.

Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, He was indeed upset when she ducked out of the way. And even more so when she ran off. Giving chase without hesitation, he followed her doggedly into a less populated area. Asmodeus had a hunch of why she was doing this, and laughed at the thought before calling out to the girl. "You best be worrying about yourself, little angel!" The demon had to give her credit though; she was a little faster then he thought she'd be. Seeing the girl enter a building, he too went inside after her. The demon paused for a moment, wondering where she was hiding. Then hurried footsteps from above told him the answer.
Quickly finding the staircase, he then started to search the upper floors. The angel's scent was there, but it was everywhere! After wasting five minutes of kicking in doors, he thought of a better idea. He would have a better vantage point from the roof, if she tried to flee. Quickly rushing up the stairs again, he bashed open the door to the roof. The expression on his face betrayed his surprise upon finding the girl, but it quickly changed into a sadistic grin. "Hey, maybe we got off on the wrong foot, here?" he asked.
Asmodeus slowly started to walk towards her, leaning his sword back against a shoulder. His crimson eye still continued to glow ominously. "I just need you to do a tiny little favor for me, and then you can go back to daddy and mommy. You can even tell all your little friends that you were at the center of the action, today! Wouldn't that be great?"
Till we close our eyes for good... [[Going out for a bit, be back later.]]

"It's not like I have a choice is it. Besides, one my mother is dead. And two, I'm not allowed to have friends," she said, glaring at the demon. She was obviously outmatched. She could jumped and fly, but that would just get her caught by her father and that would not be fun. "If not me you'd just use some else, wouldn't you? So let's hear what you no good demons are planning," she said, obviously not enjoying this.
Eli couldn't help but think it had to do something with the whole Debrak's capture. Why else would demons volunteer come to Heaven? She quickly studied the demon in front of her. Pure white hair, and one red eye. He had a sword, and obviously screamed demon. She herself didn't bother to suppress her own aura. His demon aura was making her feel on edge. She tapped her finger impatiently on her side.

Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, He feigned a look of pity before shaking his head. "Not allowed to have friends you say? How sad! Why don't you and I become best friends, then?" he asked with a smug grin. "Oh, and I don't think you're in any position to be making demands, little missy. Just come with me quietly, and I won't have to rip one of your wings off." As he finished talking, other demonic auras started to appear through out the area as chaos began to spread. Asmodeus shifted his gaze to watch a building topple over in the distance, and smirked.
"If you want the honest truth about something.. You're safer with me, then if you stay here. At least I want you alive," said the demon. Finally closing the distance between them to several feet, he held out his hand to the girl. It was a grim prospect for her, either way. Be taken as a hostage, or risk life and limb if she stayed here. There was no doubt in Asmodeus' mind though, that this little uprising wouldn't go unchecked for long. "Besides.. I can only wonder what a pampered pet like you is doing out in a commoner's community. Is daddy keeping a tight leash on you? Well, isn't this just what you've been waiting for? A chance for adventure? A chance to stand on your own two legs?! Come with me, and you will learn more about yourself then you could ever have learned here!"

Asmodeus Oh no, there ain't no rest for the wicked, Asmodeus laughed at her begging, up until green sparks of electricity shocked him out of no where. Both of his eyes began to glow, now. One red, the other green. "Damn you, Ashur! Knock it off!" Asmodeus said as he scowled. In response, a transparent being appeared beside the demon, another angel in emerald colored attire. A long bandage wrapped along the male's head, covering his eyes. "She did say please. Besides, we had a deal, too." The demon gawked, obviously taken aback by the request. He would have struck out at the other male, but knew it would be an act in vain. Glaring at the girl now, he huffed. "Fine! Stay here! And so Satan help me if I return to find you gone!"The spirit remained on the roof as the demon left them. Walking out to the edge of the roof, he continued to watch Asmodeus as the fiend headed for the nearest commotion. "He means well. He's just a stubborn one." said the angel, smiling back at the girl. Upon finding the nearest demon, Asmodeus greeted his compatriot by burying his sword deep into the other man's torso. There would be no reasoning with those of his kind gathered here today. Till we close our eyes for good...

Eli was astonished when a spirit of an angel appeared, and then the demon left. "That's hard to believe," she mumbled, answering the spirit. She sighed and reached back and pulled the tie out of her hair. She flipped it back into place, and folded her wings back towards her back. She wouldn't try to run, after all the demon went to hopefully do what she had asked. She kept her hairband in place. She quickly brushed some of her bangs out of her eyes.
Eli studied the spirit for a minute. "What are demons and a spirit doing here anyway?" she asked, hoping to have better luck with him other then that demon. She stood there with her arms crossed, just waiting on an answer. She was beginning to get impatient, and she wanted to just run, but she stopped herself. Being rash was nothing good, and this could be her one chance to see more of life. Instead of being stuck inside almost all day. She didn't really like the idea of being captured by a demon, but she was open minded....sort of. It's not like she had a choice in the matter. She wanted these demons out of here. Demons and angels didn't mix well.
Eli started to wonder what had happened to the spirit standing before her and why he was hanging with a demon. She didn't didn't think it was any of her business, it had nothing to do with her hometown and she didn't think it was harming anyone. She begun to look around from her vantage point on the roof. This could be the last time she saw this place in a long time, and she wanted to remember it.

Ashur Good? Evil? Don't be daft; those are just mere words. The spirit let out a short chuckle at the girl's reply, and nodded. It was indeed understandably from her point of view, difficult to believe that they were here doing good. When she asked what they were doing here, he paused for a moment, pondering over the pros and cons of revealing that information. "Let's just say that even demons will go out of their way for family.. As for me, I go where ever Asmodeus goes. Willingly, or not." said the spirit. "We have an.. odd 'partnership,' I suppose you could call it.."
Turning his attention back down below, he noticed that Asmodeus had already slain two of his brethren. Despite the bandage covering his eyes, he appeared capable of seeing. "My apologies, though. This really is a beautiful place, you have here. Nothing like what I'm used to seeing down in Hell.."
You know it in your heart, what you should and shouldn't be doing.
