* Finalist in reality talent show "Let's CokePlay Battle Shinhwa" in 2005
* Former leader of girl group "Five Girls" from Good Entertainment
* Girl group "Five Girls" was originally composed of Secret's Hyosung, Wonder Girls' Yoobin, After School's Uee, ex-TARA member Jiwon, and Gina.
* Due to financial issues, the girl group never had the chance to debut.
* Gina left the entertainment industry for a short period of time and moved back to Canada after Five Girls was disbanded.
* Later, Hong Seungsung of JYPE (now the representative of CUBE Ent.) gave Gina a second chance and allowed her to audition for JYPE. She was accepted and started her training in November of 2007. She started her training in New York under JYPE and later came back to Korea in May of 2008. When Hong Seungsung came out of JYPE and formed CUBE Ent., Gina followed and continued her training there.
