- Couldn't believe the results they were getting out of the 3DS
- utilizes all the common rendering techniques on 360/PS3 like HDR rendering, surface shaders and normal maps, depth of field, gamma correction and more
- 2x Anti Aliasing in 2D mode, off in 3D mode
- polygon count and resolution is lower than RE5 but Revelations has similar expression
- Street Fighter IV 3DS uses the same engine

Sounds a little too good to be true.
I bet it'll have some huge flaw with it, like it'll weigh a ton or something.

Basically the trade-off is that some of those nice graphical effects turn off when you use the 3D.

Fish: Since it's using flash cards still, I'd guess not, but who knows.

I think that the HDR lighting won't be as pretty as that holographic effect.

According to Official Nintendo Magazine, the 3D pretty much works as AA, which is why it's disabled when 3D is in use. But anyway, yeah, it's amazing how graphics technology has advanced.

On another 3DS related note, my friend wouldn't believe me when I told him about glasses-free 3D. After I'd convinced him it was real he just went silent. XD

Well as long as all the self-shadowing and that jazz is still there, that's fantastic. I don't even know how motion blur would work in 3D, and AA isn't really that important to me.
