Video game creepypastas are supposed to suck.
I wish I could find the first one outside of a 4chan image, but I have the video.

tl;dr

Kid finds an old house and is drawn to it. Old man in house gives him old Majora's Mask cart free. Takes it home, plays it. One file, "BEN" is there, with everything up to stone tower on the final day. Make new file, glitches everywhere. NPCs call him BEN sometimes. Deletes BEN, s**t goes down. NPCs don't talk to him, more glitches, etc. Does the day 4 glitch I've never heard of. Terrible graphical glitches, random respawns, frames from cutscenes with loud noises, and an inescapable clock town with the song of healing playing backwards slowly increasing in volume, and being followed by Elegy of Emptiness statue.

Creepypastas aren't as much about being believable as being... creepy. Though, yeah, if something's too stupid or outrageous it's not even scary in the first place. The use of the statues is really well done in these videos.
