I'm to do a reading about 2 minutes in length for Public Speaking. It can essentially be anything not super vulgar/sexual.

Suggestions?

Explain how you shouldn't have done that.

Or how one person can implant a story into people, and cause widespread panic and curiosity.

A poem or short story would also be nice suggestions.

Do an interpretive dance.

But either make something up, or read something Powerful Warlock had written.

Vonnegut Short story.

Any you'd recommend in particular? It's gotta be read in a length of about 2 minutes.

"All Summer in a Day" by Ray Bradbury. The one about the kids living on Venus where it rains constantly. It might be a little too long, though.

"Joyas Voladoras" by Brian Doyle is a neat piece too.
